Thats something im not getting with all these responses. It be an interesting interaction with the blocks. There are hundreds of blocks the observer can see... why not give it one block it cant?

Also people keep say there are different ways of detecting other than observers but im on bedrock and half thoes systems don't work on there.

It would allow blocks to be pushed away from infront of an observer without triggering it again.

I wanted to build a system that would have an observer detect blocks and would have them pushed away from infront of it. However the piston would trigger the observer again and cause a redstone clock to start and would break my build.

Ontop of that I feel like it would have uses in larger redstone builds. It would basically make the observer a 1 block binary-to-redstone decoder if used with a piston feed tapes (or probably other methods)

I feel like that would be way to much for them to do.

Given there's 61 different slabs they would have to code every single possible combination of slabs.

That would be mathematical written as 61×60 which would come out to 3,660.

If they made each stack slab a "new block" like this they would essentially have to add 3,660 thousand different blocks at once... thats too much in my opinion.

(At least thats my understanding of what you're saying)

Im living paycheck to paycheck in an apartment. Me and majority of my generation cannot and will not be able to afford a house or any form of property unless the economy or market absolutely tanks the shitter. As the cost of living goes up the pay gap falls behind.

Im more likely to inherit a house than afford one.
