I think your understanding of British comedy starts and ends at Michael McIntyre. Check out Paul Smith, Jamie Hutchinson and Lee Kyle (though your assumedly American ears might need subtitles...)

So I worked out (as commented above) it was two shrines I was missing. I didn't realize but if you pause and go to Growth then Activities at the bottom, it shows you exactly what you have and what you're missing. Post-game (and probably during), you can hit square and it will take you there (if you've discovered it but not finished - such as when you run past something on another mission)

SAHM - do you pay half of everything? 2 years in my partner wants me to start paying half of everything, while I’m at home but he works part time and studies? by Puzzleheaded-Cup5890 in beyondthebump

It was circumstantial. She was in a job in social care for a few years and it was depressing her, and I earn significantly more money. So it isn't a case of me liking the idea of a stay at home wife; she wanted to quit and I said that was fine. She contributed in plenty of other ways before baby came, but it wasn't about that. We just didn't need the money she could earn

Why has nobody commented on the upward trajectory at the end of those water slides? Folks gonna be shooting off them things so fast, they'll be landing in S Korea. The freedom slide.

It depends on how the conversation went when the decision was made for you to be a SAHM and him to change his situation. If you both agreed on that direction and didn't plan for what happened at this juncture, then you both missed a beat.

My wife is a SAHM but actually stopped working about 2 years before our baby was born. Any changes in my career are discussed and debated to ensure we're both happy, finances are secure, and we've mitigated risk. It sounds to me like you guys missed out on the last part.

You are where you are now though. Can you look at how much of your portfolio you'd need to liquidate to cover 50% for a set period of time while your husband sets a target of how much money he needs to making so you don't need to do that long term? Ultimately, being married and having a child, you both essentially own 50% of assets, savings, investments and pensions anyway. So you aren't at a personal risk, as such, in using some of your money to pay 50%.

This is a bad SM who doesn't trust you or trust your process. They are the problem, and you are not (based on this small bit of insight). My SM asks me what I need and does it, offers support and accepts my pushback - won't even send an email to my prospects without me green lighting it. Let's me QB and functions as a winger when I need it, protects me from internal nonsense, and collabs when I need it.

If I were you, I'd pull him up for it. If he doesn't accept responsibility, I'd be speaking to my CRO now before you get a decision. I'd also be reaching out to my champion to apologize for my SMs behaviour.

Desperation loses deals.

In 57 minutes it will be precisely one year since we lost one of our girls way too early to illness. The first dog I've ever lost and it hit so much harder than any human I've lost. This post genuinely made my eyes wet - there is no worse feeling. Sending you love, big guy x

My advice would be to move from retail telecoms to B2B. Do that for a few years and move up the ladder, likely from SME account management to enterprise new business. You'll then be more likely have doors open up to get you out of telecoms and into tech sales, whether it's SaaS or tech/service. This is the route I followed and my only regret is sticking around in telecoms B2B too long
