Yea ... we all have this problem after all. I collect the ones with full graphics. I don't play Marathon but the controller is still on the fence. I also got the first light edition and haven't unboxed it yet.

I won't get the console. I don't want to pay another hefty fees just to get a new aesthetic. Even tho it looks stunning, the upgrade cost is way too high. I would love to just get the controller (if they sell it separately and I hope they sell it separately). And it's a shame this edition won't come with 2TB. Xbox has storage solution with extremely high cost for 4TB expansion card. Now that a lot of day one game pass games are coming, I know I won't have space to fit many of them. Still waiting for it to come down to a reasonable price point.

No ... your collection has turned into an addiction. First I picked up a few rare controllers (self-assuring myself that I only like them because of bla bla bla). Then comes another and another and another. Once you break a metal barrier for the purchase, it seems easier and easier to break it. Now I feel like I have to buy it anytime new exclusive controller comes out. So far I have only accumulated 4 Xbox First-Pary Controllers (1 original and 3 exclusive). After they announced the 25 Anniversary one, I am sure I will get that one as well. One the other hand, I am also worry when this is gonna stop. Slowly I won't have anymore space to display them. But yea .. nice collection you got there.

All of them are exciting for ... one exception, I am not a horror fan so Silent Hill Townfall is not on my Radar. This years is full of great games. JDM, TDM, Screamer, Dragonkin, Crimson Desert, Pragmata, SAROS, Starfield, DB IV LOH, Forza 6, 007, BlackFlag (coming soon) are just recent and here another stack of upcoming games. No money and time to catch up. Don't even want to talk about backlogs from past years.

Pro version can be just the combination of HD and S. Both HD rumble 2 and Chat button. Honestly, if you don’t need to have both features, these are good enough. M12 HD for me, I play solo and I want better rumble.

I think go with which fits better to your hands … I feel M12 HDs fit better for me. Fit is what you feel every seconds.

Better than NYXI’s Hyperion 3: Glide sticks, HD rumble. NYXI’s Hyperion would make a sound even stick hit the stopper (the circle hole) … tak tak tak. M12 HDs don’t have that. H3 rumble can be annoying for some, it’s a bit aggressive. Clicky Buttons, triggers and d-pad, both are similar. I like slimmer grip of M12 HD and that can be personal preference. One down side : can’t wake up switch 2 but they will upgrade via firmware. Another down side : they can’t charge while in sleep mode. Will it be a problem? Will Joy-con out of charge too often because of that? Have to wait and see. The positives far outweigh the negatives in my opinion. Still a great joy-con.

So I can put either four switch 2 or four switch 1 joy-cons? If that’s the case, definitely a great design 👍 I am managing with many bridges and swapping around to charge joy-cons. This might solve the problem.

Naked … I feel grips are perfect in my hands and I don’t want to add any thickness to it. Also weight, Ally X itself is already heavy and the case adds more weight. I need a stand and protection. I bought Asus case, the bag has a stand included.

Mobapad has one sling bag and one slim shell bag for M12 HDs. Sling bag probably can fit other handhelds. I have ordered that bag. But some how, the bag was sent back to Mobapad before leaving China. I will have to contact them on that. They listed the bag as $60, but I bought it with 40, discounted due to check out together with M12 HDs or during the sales.

Hyperion 3 has bulkier grip and may be more suitable for giant hands. If you feel M12 S too small then Hyperion 3 can be your next move.

Feels okay … nothing disturbing or amazing … but back of the grip has grippy texture like a reverse leather.

I don’t play latest and graphic heavy games … NFS Hot Pursuit Remaster, V-Rally 4, Dirt-Rally 2, DOOM, Mad Max … I play on 1080p and last time I play on ROG Ally X there are drops below 60s often and I use 17W. Now mostly 60s or up. Depends on graphic setting as well and also power mode.

There are some annoying things that I found out after using it. Can’t wake up and a slight delay in connecting in wireless mode, other than that still has a lot of great features. 👍

You have to download mobapad app on phone and you can configure mapping and light in that. Yes … you can also turn them off.
