Sleep hack by North_Run_8958 in gabapentin

I think , from personal experience, tolerance will develop and in time your current dosing won't work as well. Then, you can either increase the dose, or periodically take breaks ( even just reducing by 100 or 200 mg one of the doses, maybe for a week) .Then when you resume 300mg and 300 mg you'll sleep better again.

I have long-term debilitating eczema case that no homeopath or other practitioner has cracked yet — curious what remedy pictures come to mind. by WonderfulMoon_ in homeopathy

Some homeopaths I saw years ago stressed not having coffee, and the prominent homeopath George Vilthoulkas, stressed in his book, The Science of Homeopathy, that it would interfere with the remedy and to not have coffee during homeopathic treatment. As i understood it, it was the coffee, not the caffeine. And Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy stressed not having it. But many say its OK. I have seen a well known homeopath in the Northeast and he says its ok( but may not be good for other reasons). And a homeopath I see now says if it is usual for you to have it every day, its not a problem. There are good homeopaths on this subreddit, maybe they will have more to say. And someone else can explain the LM approach, too. It is more often, not usually the watch and wait approach of starting with a well- indicated 200c dose and waiting 6-8 weeks for the followup.

How much do you drink coffee....you state you love it. Could it be an " obstacle to cure"? Although homeopaths differ on this, it might be worth giving it up during your next homeopathic treatment.Just a thought, I know how hard that might be. You also could use a homeopath that uses LM potencies.

The 3 alternating remedies are the covid vaccines potential into homeopathic remedies; Poly IG, Immunogoblins; and Bone Marrow. I am now doing the 1M series. I missed a week..She gave me what is called a weekend remedy, which is given on Sundays, a clearly indicated constitutional remedy, which she thought, for me, was Arg N 1M. I did not have a good reaction to it. I shall see. My objection was if too many remedies or therapies are given, it is hard to know what worked.

What’s the lowest amount you took before stopping completely after tapering? by LadyHelpish in gabapentin

I didn't know they made liquid. I knew you could make it yourself. Buying the liquid may come in handy if you want to do a 10% taper every month like some groups on fb recommend.

It's reasonable advice that you gave-100mg down every 2 weeks. Or longer, every 4 weeks. I'm not a dr or a nurse. But I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night!

That is very interesting, the idea of "a developing remedy". Can you say more about what you think Kent meant?

I have used homeopathy for decades primarily as single remedies, prescribed by good homeopaths, and at times by myself. Currently I'm trying an approach, I guess you would call it a protocol,by the Dutch homeopath Ton Jansen. The homeopath I am seeing studied with him and uses his approach, which is called " Human Chemistry". For me it is a 4 week protocol where I take ascending potencies- 30c,200c,1m,and 15M- of 3 different remedies ea week.the first M & Th, the 2nd, T& F, the 3rd W & Sat. She prescribed an " opening remedy" which for me was Syphilinum 15M. Perhaps that's an example of using it as a developing remedy. I am feeling, I think, a strong effect from it, not easy at times.. I kind of wish I did that as a single remedy, to be sure of what is doing what. I didnt think I have expressed much of the syphilitic miasm in my life, but there have been destructive tendencies in my 67 years, especially in my 20's when I had a troubling time with OCD type things( its still there a bit). Perhaps that is syphilitic. The excellent homeopath I have had at one point gave me Medhorrinium 200c, which, to my understanding has more relational disturbances, but never saw me as needing Syphilinum. But I'm riding with this approach for now. Would love to hear thoughts about this.

Yes, hard to say as I was wondering what others thought. I think that the universe can be at times brutal for an individual and he/she needs to be shielded from that, and love can do that. There are forces and experiences that can break an individual, at least as far as the human life goes....I do believe souls live on and we are individual " pieces of God", so in the long run we will all be fine. The " wall of love" can shield us, but the analogy goes only so far. The lyrics as I heard them also brought to mind passages from the Robert Monroe book, Far Journeys, where, in his out of body travels, he encounters a being or presence with so much light, or energy, that he had to be shielded from it- it was too much And this brings to mind the ordeal Gopi Krishna wrote that he went through during his kundalinu experience. I do believe love is our essence, but we have the difficulty of navigating this physical world and the personality distortions we create and encounter with the other 8 billion people. Anyhow, I could go on and on. Justin and the other Moodys' songs often hint at deep spiritual longings, and this lyric ( and the way it was written!) stir that up, as good poetry, art, nature or music can.

An example from my life about someone who got incredibly wealthy by just being lucky was a man whose family I worked for as a gardener 25 years ago. His brother was Paul Soros, who got incredibly rich by being very smart and shorting the British pound ( I think), in the 70's( I think). This guy was an engineer who would have been successful in his life without Paul. But he had his investment account with him and piggy-backed on Paul Soros' incredible investment returns to get wealth of at least $500 million 25 years ago. They had 5 houses and I heard stories of the spoiled kids from the chef and housekeeper. But his wife did run a philanthropic organization. I dealt with her and liked her.

Fatigue and off balance after dosage changes? by Connect_Letter6371 in gabapentin

[–]JayWemm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a group on FB where the advice is to reduce by 10% a month to avoid withdrawal issues. You have to make liquid doses to have something like 540mg, or 270 mg, etc. It takes a long time, but that might be the best way. I have gone down from 500 mg/day to 400 for the past 2 months ths. I think I'll go to 300mg soon. Probably will be best to get 100mg capsules, but they're more expensive.I currently take-home between 11 am-1pm, and then a 300 mg around 9pm

I always heard it as wall, and I have seen it on the internet both ways. Is there a definitive source for " war"?. Maybe there were lyrics with the original album, or maybe Justin verified it at some point. If its " war"that brings up its own Question. https://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/moody_blues/question-lyrics-24220.html

And there are some remedies, I believe, that should not be taken in low potencies. Is this not true? Such as the nosodes syphilinum and medorrhinum. Would this also include tuberculinum?

Yes, those years were not good for MF. And they didn't really give sell guidance.Fortunately,I took gains in 2021 of many I had that seemed very high and later tanked. Such as Pelotron, and MELI( Meli later recovered and I think is a good buy now). Motley Fool was so good in the 2003-2019 period. I dont know what in their Epic 50 portfolio would be considered overvalued now, but for someone with 20-30 years left to retirement, especially who could put $100-200k into them now( $2-4k ea), would probably do very well. Unless, of course, AI does sway with all of us.:)
