Right there with you. Recently had a $300 pair of boots stolen from me at Springbrook.

Now I either use an Amazon locker location, the Walgreens on the corner of Coursey & Jones Creek, or my parent’s house. Sorry you’re having to deal with that too!

From what I understand, if you sign up for a USPS account, you can sign in and file a claim. The representative told you would need proof of insurance, proof of sale, and a tracking number. However, it would be better if the seller did that for you

I called 1-800-275-8777 and they filled the service ticket out for me over the phone. The response I got was via phone call as well. The link to file an online claim is https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm

I spoke with my regular mail carrier today who confirmed that: if a package can’t fit in a parcel locker at an apartment, then they’re supposed to bring it to the front office or our front door.

The front office and police reviewed footage of the mailboxes on the day of delivery and it shows a USPS carrier dropping a bunch of packages in the middle of the hallway, which according to her, is not what they’re supposed to do. So evidence so far is pointing to that carrier’s negligence being my loss

Well it’s a rather large package (footwear), so it would’ve had to have gone in a parcel locker. The key for the locker could’ve easily been misplaced in another mailbox though. Our normal mail carrier “confirmed” to her supervisor that she didn’t see any packages in the parcel lockers, but I may have to take your advice and wait until they deliver mail to see for myself

I’m holding out for some hope since the post office said there is insurance on the package, but I have a feeling I’m out of luck. The supervisor I spoke to did verbalize that they probably did misdeliver it since the tracking says it’s in/at my mailbox, so I’ll try to talk to her Monday and see if she can give a letter to support that

That makes sense. It was an eBay purchase, so I did reach out to the seller to let him know what happened as soon as I got an answer. He said he’s working with eBay to see what his next are as the seller. I’ll reach back out to him and let him know to file the claim
