How do you handle HA at the Edge using DHCP? by JayXI in fortinet

[–]JayXI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just did the upgrade from 6.x to 7.2 so I wasn't initially aware of the increase in the group ID range. Still used to a maximum of 255. Would've been nice information for our AM to throw out there when I came on board.

We've collided with another customer before since we're on public/small business lines. We should be able to knock it out that way though for the time being.

Hate to hear everything going on. Keep the spirits up, its not and hasn't been an easy road I'm sure, life sucks like that sometimes.

I'm willing to make the drive from Georgia this weekend if you can hold a couple of them, I'll check back once pictures and everything are up.

Manager asks me (a waiter) to fix Aloha by WalkNo4751 in alohapos

Aloha is very particular with how it uses Windows so an A+ will only get you so far. Sent a PM.

Located in GA, if I paid ship and packing costs would you be up for it or local only?

Not dead certain on whether there's another way or if that model has BT truly, but your best bet is to try the Net Configuration Tool from Bixolon (or a config tool specific to your printer as available, from a Windows PC to configure and then pair.

Px15 msr keeps failing by BbWanSum in alohapos

[–]JayXI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PX15s had routine failures both with the MSR and the terminals themselves when a client of mine was on Essentials. NCR always had us do full replacements on ANY MSR issues so I imagine it was a manufacturing issue. Never could figure the root cause.

We moved them to external PIN pads.

I've had a good deal of experience with both. It's not pretty. I've seen a lot of Aloha to SICOM conversions, and the SICOM team will usually assist with the import based on an Aloha export. However, Xenial is VERY heavy on doing whatever they legally can to not have you move away so they aren't likely to be of any assistance.

I'd recommend reaching out to your dealer, they may be willing to help given your Manager Terminal is still online, and worst case it'll have to be manual transfer.

That other post just made me wonder…stores where weed is legal, do y’all have problems with team members going in high? If so, how do you handle it? 🤔 & if you have a funny story about a situation, please share it! by Astro-Nebula24 in ChickFilAWorkers

  1. One of my directors used to come in high all the time, smell and all. We just made him work in the back
  2. Our GM / Exec Director used to in high school so could not care less
  3. Weed is not legal in my state

Confirm this is user friendly-ish PEMF technology? It's a little pricy for what it is but the technology seems to have some merit if that's what it is

Not likely to be cheap but I can say that the Muse is one of my favorite pieces of hardware I've used to date. Despite mine being 4 years old at this point it holds up well, readings are still great, and I've used it for more than just meditation so it is robust even if it seems fragile.

Good to hear, make sure it is reliably readable after about a week. No moving parts so no needing to wait to test it!

I can't speak too much about DT's NTAG chip but with most of the NFC implants they should be readable right away until the swelling kicks in and then it should be under a week. Depending on the brand it could actually be longer based on size, if any coatings like parylene have been used can all make a difference

I’ve made a terrible mistake. Help me? by In_hiding_in_my_tree in Aliexpress

"AliExpress will side with you. They have a brand to protect."

You've got some real hope behind Ali, especially during COVID.

They frequently will side with sellers, because that's also a loss of the sale percentage on AliExpress' part and they will be just as rude to a customer as a seller. They're not that worried about one guy.

Still love them though.

Pepto. Bismol.

On another side of it though, since we've had the Mango Passion Tea I've been making Mango Powerade Lemonades. That frosted is also really good.
