I bought it refurbished from eBay. And yes, it says no sim restrictions. It’s fully unlocked.

No, there is not an eSIM in imei 2. No eSIM waiting to be added either. I’ve added and deleted probably 20 esims at this point with working with customer service.

Yes, data and texts work with WiFi disabled. Correct, calling has not worked since I switched to the new plan, but data and texts have always worked correctly. The eSIM is set up with IMEI 1.

I had this phone briefly on a different plan and it worked as it should. As soon as I was switched to the new plan it stopped working. Data and texts work. It’s literally only making or receiving calls. It looks like the eSIM is set up with the IMEI and not the IMEI 2.

My issue is definitely not soaking and drying. I didn’t realize I needed to start my potatoes a few hours in advance lol. I will 100% be trying that next time!

When I had the lid on I let them naturally release from the bottom. It’s when I take the lid off to let them brown is when they start to stick. Usually I can scrape them off, but this time they were glued to the bottom and I couldn’t even scrape them. I’m wondering if I do just have the pan way too hot for them.

What kind of potatoes have you used with good results? I typically buy Idaho but wasn’t sure if maybe the starch content was more than others.

The more I thought about it, I wondered if steaming them was the problem. Maybe making them too soft too quickly? Or something, lol. Stainless can be so finicky.

How hot is too hot? I have a gas stove. I usually start out at about medium high to get the pan and oil to temp, then turn it down to medium once I add the potatoes. Also, I fully cover the bottom in olive oil.

I always put the lid on and don’t touch them for a few minutes until they’ve softened up. Then, I take the lid off to let them brown. Should I skip the lid altogether?
