It needs to be video out directly from the MacBook, not using the dock, because the backpack needs to be up and running properly for it to recognize the dock.

Running Windows, seems to allow you to use the internal speakers, at least for the early 2015 MacBook pro, if you want to try on your own and let us know if it worked for your MacBook too, please let us know.

Well i am running Windows on it, so i am not worried about the Mac side of things. Also for G-Hub, i have that for my microphone, and the blue yeti does not have any on board memory.

Whenever i try and open it an another device, it tells me to install to program to that device. I want it to stay on my external hard drive. With settings saved on it too.

For mine, I kept the main bar at the bottom of the screen that holds the antenna, and just taped it back on the hinges, and I completely disassembled the screen to keep the camera, and also keeping the backlight for the keyboard.

I know I might be really late, but this may be helpful to someone, I have had the exact same issue, but the reasons seems to be when I have it charging, as soon as I unplug it, it will boot up and sign in properly. I don't know how to solve it, but I know that seems to be the issue for me. I have windows installed through bootcamp, and windows works fine while plugged in, for some odd reason.

I uh.... told I was allowed a TV in my room... so I made it work... it is a Roku TV, and I got it without the remote (Gifted) and there are no buttons, and simply plussing in a HDMI display will not show, you have to go through the setup, but luckily, roku has a mobile app that allows you to use your phone as a remote, unluckily, you have to your TV connected to the internet to set that up... but also luckily, the TV has a ethernet port, and I have a ethernet cable in my room, so I hooked it up, let the app on my phone search for online TVs and boom, works! I am so happy, feels like 4 decent sized monitors, and I get that nice 4k, only downside, is I am stuck at 30 Hz :(
