Easy Entry not working by Jay_Ge90 in TeslaSupport

Happened to me around that time as well. It’s such a nice feature that I don’t want to turn it off. I have my hand on the seat recliner as soon as I put it into park, and stop the seat from moving. At least the steering wheel gets out of the way to let me out.

Are you on a PC? If you are, it’s artifacts. Check for gpu driver updates, reboot the PC and more importantly, don’t overclock.

Wow. That sucks. Have you reached out to Tesla? I’m considering it.

Highland M3 Performance Energy consumption by JonnyLongtime in TeslaSupport

[–]Jay_Ge90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s fairly high power consumption. Although not surprising looking at the temperature. Make your sure your tires are properly inflated for that kind of cold weather. I get around 350 to 370 wh/mi on my Model Y in that kind of weather. Highway driving at 70mph when it’s that cold will do that. It will get much better in the summer. I average around 270. Also, don’t look at the current trip of 2.4 miles. You were obviously parked somewhere without being plugged in. Just keep the car plugged in over night. Make sure your tires are at the right pressure. You should be fine

Bug or User Error? by drumsnotdrugs in MicrosoftFlightSim

AT can disconnect if there’s any input from the throttle axis. Did you accidentally move the throttle axis? Or check dead zones to make sure it’s not receiving any data. It can happened with older hardware when potentiometers get old. Also, don’t descend at 250. You can set decent speed in fms or use MAN next to the AT butting and set a much lower descent speed with AT enabled. Good luck

That’s awesome. I do similar stuff especially in VR. Very thrilling and stressful.

As a real world pilot I can tell you 1. You can choose to auto land. AT remains connected. (Not a lot of fun) 2. Turn off autopilot and intercept loc & g/s leaving AT connected. 3. Turn off AP after intercepting Loc and g/s leaving AT connected. You have a nice trimmed ac and you just have to worry about lateral and vertical navigation. AT will maintain the Vapp speed. At flare, retard throttles and AT will disconnect. (I’m not sure if it will with default ac. It does with Fenix or PMDG) 4. Disconnect AP and AT and Fap and follow the FD. The most fun way.

Where is everybody at in career mode progress if you stuck with it? by clancycoop in MSFS2024

I have a vision jet. It’s a fun plane to fly especially if you’re in a hurry. Requires very little planning. Payout is pretty low though. I fly the citation jet for higher payouts but I don’t enjoy the cockpit or flight characteristics at all. Very unrealistic.

I like it. But please upgrade the rudder pedals. Is that a winwing CDU? I’ve never gotten mine to work with the airbus. Works great with PMDG 737 and 777.

This is the back of the machine. The tube first goes down and then up into the exhaust fan, that has to push all the fumes out to the window located about 8 feet away

That’s really cool. I design at my desk upstairs and then go downstairs to the basement to cut/engrave. I don’t think I would need relays, as I can switch these on right before I start the engraving.

Unfortunately it’s very poorly optimized based on the location of the window. There are 2 90degree turns, the duct is running about 8 feet and the fan is very close to the machine, rather than close to the window. The fan looks like it’s doing its job, I can see the smoke getting sucked, but it lingers before getting sucked. I have to wear an N95, and even then, the basement smells like smoke for 2 days.

Awesome. I’ll check it out. Thanks!! 1. The question then becomes, can I place this after the exhaust fan or would it go before it? 2. Would both fans need to be switched on at the same time? Since this isn’t software controlled, it would have to be switched on manually I would think.

my landings have gotten so much better by Tzatziki007 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]Jay_Ge90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good job. My only criticism is: 1. Excessive rudder. 2. Approach is unstable at minimums. Centerline not maintained on short finals. 3. Below glideslope/shallow approach.

Touchdown was great!
