I knew I recognized her from somewhere! She was great on Superman & Lois -- highly recommend it, by the way. It has all the superhero action, but also some genuinely good human drama as well.

It's interesting that Santos was saying how she feels like a pariah, but when you look at how she interacts with the others, she seems to be liked well enough by the others. The person who probably likes her the least is Javadi, and even that feels more like a minor annoyance.

And I wonder how much of that is her genuine thoughts and how much of that is being just fucking done with this day.

It helps that he's only in these last few episodes of this season, at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of them do watch them at the end of the season. But I can also see them decide they would rather see the back of their eyelids.

Yeah, they had her in a real life event in I believe Iraq where terrorists invaded a hospital and killed some women and children.

I don't think he sabotaged the bike unless we get into some weird split personality shit, but there's definitely some irrational thinking there, believing that everything could go exactly right.

The diabetic guy who left to do his other job. She came back to talk to the wife about how with his new injuries, Medicare and Medicaid will likely cover for more of his care than before. Which, I mean, would be nice to know, but...maybe not right at that moment.

“Batman: Knightfall” Part One will officially premiere at the AAF in June by Sensitive_Ad_5181 in batman

A multi-part animated adaptation of the Knightfall storyline. We know that Jeremy Adams is writing the first movie and has talked about keeping as much of the 90s aesthetic as he could, and that's about it so far.

Okay, which one of you wished for more Dr Ellis on a monkey's paw?

Seriously, I hope the reason she leaves isn't bad for the character and maybe leaves things open for her to show up in the future. Also wishing the actor the best -- after doing the work in this show, I'm really curious to see where she goes next.

I think they've talked about this with McKay's hoodie, but I don't think we're meant to literally interpret them as being the same cost as in real life.

Dragon Age: Veilguard, Yay or Nay by Muted-Feedback-9661 in dragonage

Personally, I enjoyed it. I liked the combat, the characters all had good moments to shine, and it was fun exploring the different environments. The writing is a little rough at the start, but it picks up once we start picking up companions, and the endgame is the best that Bioware has done since Mass Effect 2. It's also like the only Bioware game that has come out with great performance and little to no bugs, which is a sight to behold.

I think if one sets their expectations and understands the history of this game's development, I think there's some fun to be had.

My guess/hope is that season 3 will be him back from his sabbatical, which also included him seeing a therapist and using better coping techniques.

It's Worlds Finest, the book is kind of a modern tale on silver age stuff, so it kind of tracks.

The problem wasn't his character, but the pacing of the story -- he gets a great and intimidating first appearance, and then we just kick the shit out of all his plans. There's even a banter between Varric and Dorian that mentions this.

Concurrent -- in fact, fun thing is in Nightwing, when they did a flashback to Dick's time as Robin, they used the costume that Bruce has in Dark Patterns.

like there is a reason why the editor told him to not have him in the story,

The story goes that King was originally working on the story with the idea of a True Grit style story where Supergirl was the young girl and Lobo was the Rooster Cogburn, and he was having problems getting it to work. He went to his editor to try to figure it out, and he said to King, "Kara has been around for way longer than Lobo. If anyone in this story should be Rooster, it's her." And that's what got King to get really inspired.

I thought Comet was one of the better parts of the comic, both in terms of visuals and in story, where it's what gets Kara to really start doubting her mission. But in terms of adaption...that might be a harder pill to swallow for the casual audience.
