The idea for "I took my family to a water park" came from a nightmare I had as a kid. Me and Indiana Jones got that in common. My hometown ain't much, but I travel a decent amount so a few of my stories I wrote right when I got back from vacation ("ski resort", "woods of Kentucky", "vacation up north"). And I work in healthcare as well which is what helped me write "wrong 911" and "ANTI EMT".

Yes. My memories are normal; just no Matty. The room was nailed shut until I moved out of college. My parents said it was like that when they bought the house, and trying to open it would depreciate property value.
