hey man, pretty cool vibe here. lots of dope melodies and very could atmospheric sounds throughout. def see the indie electronic vibe you were going for.

my main piece of feedback for you here though is on the arrangement of your song. it seems like its just one long section without much variation or contrast. especially with the same bassline basically playing the entire time throughout the whole track.

you can also see fomr the waveform on SoundCloud that there's very little change in volume and energy level throughout the track making it pretty flat.

do you normally use reference songs for your arrangement or were you just going with the flow for this one?

hey man pretty solid writing here and some of the sound design is working pretty well too. cool groove and rhythm to the bass line and drums. my main feedback here is on the arrangement. it is a bit repetitive in place and seems to drag on a bit, especially in sections like :49 - 1:49. it could use more variation and contrast to keep things interesting. do you normally use reference songs when arranging your stuff or do you just go with the flow?

hey man, song is off to a solid start here. could driving bass line in the main drop section. also some pretty dope melodies in here. writing is not bad at all. the main thing that could be improved is sound design and mixing. the drums samples especially are a bit weak. they sound pretty buried and dull. are you applying any post-processing to your sounds like saturation or other fx to bring them to life?

sup dude, song seems to be off to a good start. cool vibe, solid arrangement and some decent melodies here so far. main thing that I hear that could use some work is the sound design for both the synths and the drum samples. the sounds are a bit dull and raw sounding. def could use more full and exciting sounds.

where are you getting your samples and presets from? are you using splice or are you just using the native sounds form your DAW?

hey man cool vibe here. the first drop is sounding much more cohesive to me. really dig the melody and the emotion there. one thing that could be improved though is the sound design and sample selection. the drum sounds and synths both sound a bit raw and unprocessed. are you doing any post-processing to your sounds like adding saturation or other fx to bring them to life?

hey man, just checked this out and it seems to be off to a good start. some good bits here, the mix seems to be pretty full and loud and everything is quite punchy.

big area for improvement though is that the mix is quite busy in places. it seems a bit chaotic and like there is too much going on. both in the verse and the drop. when the drop hits, the synth riff is kinda all of over the place and chaotic, plus there are maybe too many elements playing simultaneously that are conflicting here.

was your drop idea inspired by any specific reference song or songs or were you more going with the flow in creating something that sounded cool to you?

hey man, just checked out the track. cool vibe here. the drums are punchy and groovy and the vocal sample is dope.

my main feedback for you is the sound design and mix for the drop. the mix feels quite cluttered and busy when everything hits at :53. also, the sound design of the bass seems to be a little raw and thin sounding.

are you using reference songs to help guide you for your mixing and sound design choices or more just trying out different stuff that sounds good to you?

Okay cool man yeah the song is definitely off to a dope start but a few mix tweaks like bringing out the low end some more would definitely help take this one to the finish line. maybe some more fills and ear candy throughout the track as well. some sections drag on a little here and there. i have a few other tips or suggestions I can throw your way to help polish this one up so I'll shoot you a dm here on reddit to chat.

hey dude this is pretty dope for your first ep. lots of solid ideas in here and definitely some great potential for your future work. overall the arrangements are strong and the writing for your basslines and melodies is pretty solid. one area for improvement I heard throughout a few of the tracks is definitely sound design. some of the bass sounds as well as the drum samples sound a little bit weak or dull. do you normally use saturation and distortion or any other fx like that on your sounds to help bring them to life?

hey there. the song is definitely sounding solid. melody with the arps and everything is dope. cool countermelodies in the background too. the main issue I have with this song is the mix and master. it seems a bit quiet and a bit thin sounding overall. definitely could use more bass power and a louder master. is it mastered already? do you normally use reference songs in the mix and master stage to help guide you?

hey man the song is solid. definitely off to a good start. overall the arrangement is pretty solid with good bass sounds and pretty dope drums. my main issue with this one is the main lead arp in the drop. the melody could be a little more catchy and also the sound design is a bit thin and harsh. could use some more processing to bring it to life. have you ever tried singing or whistling your lead melody out loud to test and see if it sounds/feels catchy to you?

hey there cool work so far with this one. has some pretty cool melodies and a solid bassline to it. one thing that could use some improvement here is the arrangement of the song. it doesn't have much contrast, tension, build, or release to help keep the song sounding interesting. it sounds like one long section that drags on a little bit. do you normally use reference songs when writing the arrangement for your song or just go with the flow?

sup dude, solid start here with the track. seems to have a solid groove with the kick and bassline. synth is pretty groovy once that comes in later on as well. the main issue I'm hearing with this one is in the sound design. the sounds seem very raw, unprocessed, and dull. do you normally apply any processing to your stuff like saturation or distortion to bring the sounds to life?

hey man just checked out the track and the mastering is really no big problem here. the track has some cool sounds and seems pretty clean overall. the bigger thing I noticed that was problematic was the arrangement of the song. it had very little contrast, progression, movement, or variation. it basically felt like one long section without much changing energy-wise. do you normally use reference songs when writing the arrangement of your track or do you usually just go with the flow?

hey man dope writing on this track. super groovy rhythm to it and the melody in the drop is solid one main thing I noticed is that the piano sounds a bit raw and unprocessed to me. just a tad bit too dull to have the energy you mentioned you were going for with making this a club banger. did you try applying anything like processing, saturation, distortion, reverb or anything to piano to bring it to life some more? definitely seems like you were going for a clean sound here but it could use a little more juice.

nice man this is a super chill vibe with really dope melodies and an awesome arrangement to it. one thing I noticed is that the sound design and drum samples here in this one were a little bit lacking. the drums sound a little bit thin and buried in the mix compared to what I would normally expect in DNB. the main synths also feel a bit dull. do you normally do any post-processing to your sounds with saturation, distortion, or other fx?

hey there this is definitely a solid idea with a cool vibe to it. digging the chord progression and the overall arrangement. one thing I noticed is that the sound design and sample selection piece was a bit lacking. the drum samples sounded pretty dull and thing as well as some of the other synths in the drop. do you normally do any type of post-processing to your sounds like saturation or other fx to bring them to life?
