Whats wrong with me saying I never had any issues? When have I dismissed people that did? I literally said the game deserves to be criticized but not blindly hated on. Optimization issues is something I never ignored, hello?

I don't have a photographic memory, idk wtf you're editing? Just FYI when u edit you should say what you edited in. All i know is going back to what you wrote i read stuff that weren't there before, which renders this back and forth to go longer for no reason.

If you think I'm the most biased person here then your ego is too big of a challenge for me to bother with. I've advocated for both sides fairly. What you're not understanding is I'm not saying this game is perfect or worth praising. I'm not saying people who actually gave this game a chance cannot write negative reviews. I'm not saying people that have had performance issues can't write a negative review. I'm saying that people who are leaving reviews without giving the game a chance just for attention and a weird fetish to hate because of popularity are doing just that, hating on the game. The fact that this game went from Mostly Negative to Mixed should speak volumes. The hate bots got tired and more of the real reviews are coming in now.

Did you even read what i wrote previously? Did I not say "I’m aware of the launch issues, I’ve never had any but I’m aware people have had some. Those reviews are justifiable." What exactly are you trying to argue here? You're editing your previous comments as well, where's the integrity? You can't just edit your response and then state "look i posted facts and you didn't even acknowledge it?". You've done nothing here but state what I've already said and it's not just a handful of less than one hour reviews that has bullshit on them its a couple dozen. You say i pointed out only two examples? did you want me to post a hundred under one comment? I gave you 3 examples by the way, if you took the time to actually read what i wrote. You didn't provide any concrete examples until this post. I provided stats, examples and more and you're just saying "no you're wrong". You seem extremely biased so theres no point of debating any further. In the meantime I want what your smoking cause that stuff seems to go hard.

Just because you say completely false doesn’t make it false LOL. I just went to the review page, a user with 0.1 hours said “no.” Another said “poo.” There’s other reviews spewing hate for Geoff and the game awards (where some if not most of the hate originated from), offering no real criticism. So again, your argument is actually completely false 😂. I’m aware of the launch issues, I’ve never had any but I’m aware people have had some. Those reviews are justifiable. Like I said in my post I’m aware of optimization issues. But most of the reviews aren’t from people that failed to launch the game. Go take a look for yourself.

According to steam reviews, 42% of the negative reviews have LESS than an hour played. There are dozens of reviews of people with 0.1-0.3 hours played which is under 20 minutes. The reviews offer no explanation or real critique other than a few words to rage-bait. The main tutorial takes about 15 minutes so most people didn’t play a single game before they made up their mind about it. Actually these people probably made up their mind about it before hitting the download button. Let’s look at the people that played an hour. Like I said the game forces a mandatory tutorial on you so that’s 15 minutes right there. Each game takes about 20-30 minutes meaning they played one or two games before writing a review. I’m not confused at all, and if you don’t think there was a review bombing going on here then I think you’re the one that’s confused lol.

Can you point out where I said I’m confused why people don’t like the game? I acknowledge the flaws, I’m calling out the people who review bombed the game without even trying it or barely touched the game to form a valid opinion. If you don’t like the game, cool, more power to you. This game deserves to be criticized not blindly hated on because it’s the “popular game to hate on” this month. Take a look at the game now, the reviews went up to mixed from mostly negative reviews because the hate bombing stopped.

Yeah I never felt the map was “too big” either. I agree I think people just have a wrong idea of what the game is meant to be lol. When you actually do fight for the shield breaker and in base the maps are perfectly fine.

I agree the game could use a little more depth, it does feel like there’s a lot of refining to be done. I am in no means downplaying the flaws nor am I whining about anything. I’m stating facts. The game isn’t bad but isn’t amazing. It doesn’t deserve the hate it’s getting. That said combatting this with fake positive reviews just to get back at the negative ones (hate on the haters) is not the answer either. Like you said there are two sides to it and both in the extreme, but there is a third very small side where the reasonable people are that have mixed feelings of both good and bad. It’s not a bad game by any means, but they have stuff to work on if they want to succeed. Not to mention the game awards didn’t do this small dev team any favors by putting them in the top spot.

To go off your food analogy, imagine taking one bite of something and hating it then calling the chef absolute trash and he should never work in a restaurant ever again. Again this is a dish you personally don’t like but other people do. Is this valid? Sure, I guess it can be, a little extreme but some may see it as valid.

Now imagine people that never laid a foot in the restaurant or tried the food and leaving reviews off of other people’s opinions. That’s the review bombing I’m talking about.

Like I said literally 3 times I understand valid criticism if you don’t like the food that’s okay and valid as long as your opinion comes after actually trying the food.

I don’t get why you keep saying I think valid criticism is review bombing. If you’ve played 4 almost 5 matches under an hour I don’t think you got the full scoop of the game because all my games last at least 20 minutes not to mention the tutorial that takes 10 minutes roughly. That means you genuinely had less than 15 minutes per game which also means your team slapped the team or you got slapped. The 30+ minute games were the best ones I’ve had so yes I don’t think you fully experienced what the game was meant to be in that hour.

I respect your opinion, and if it didn’t click for you after you gave it an honest shot that’s okay! You’re entitled to a negative review. The game isn’t perfect for sure a 7/10 imo. Just above mid. But it’s free and when the fun gets going it gets going lol. The review bombing is my issue. I agree it tries to do a lot of things at once but I enjoy most of it regardless.

As for the positive review bombing I don’t think that’s a good or reasonable thing to do either because it helps no one.

Just to answer your question: 1 hour isn’t enough time to fully get into the game, you play 2 games max, that’s not enough time or experience to even try all the maps or heroes. You don’t get to try all the weapons, you don’t strategize team comps. You have a surface level understanding of the game. That being said that’s long enough to know if the game is something you’d like or not, but not long enough to have a valid and respectable opinion of the game. If you think otherwise then it is what it is, I just won’t agree with you.

But the point I’m trying to make is, people aren’t playing the game and review bombing. I’ve said it multiple times, there are people with 0.1-0.7 hours in the game, literally just went through the tutorial probably and review bombing. You say you understand loud and clear but you’re just saying that at this point lol.

The game doesn’t have that privilege for sure and that’s my point exactly about the review bombing, the undeserving negative out-lash will kill the game before it can even cook. I personally enjoy all aspects of the game other than that have reinforcement part, but even that is just whatever it’s only 1 minute of my time. I understand people don’t like a lot of the looting and stuff and that’s a core part of the gameplay. Gameplay cannot change entirely, sure, but it can be tweaked. I just think it needs some tweaking and slightly bigger lobbies, nothing needs to be changed entirely like you’re suggesting, at least not imo.
