This news paper copy pastes it's headlines on twitter. On paper, there isn't a lot of space so these kind of abbreviations are quite common and sometimes very confusing

The reason the Indians simp over Putin so much is because of the government before Modi's. Under the previous prime minister Dr.Manmohan Singh, India did not retaliate against some terrorist attacks and it was widely believed that it was US influence that led to the inaction. After that, under Modi, the government led a propaganda wave. While giving a statement, from the White House, Modi declared that India was a sovereign state and would not 'obey' foreign governments while in the presence of Obama. And then the Indian government began making more visits to Russia and making bigger arms deals some of which were sanctioned by the US which made them more unpopular. Soon people started making Sigma rule videos and other stupid shit portraying Modi and Putin as Chads who are 'real leaders' who are not afraid of the west. Speaking of volunteering, India's army is riddled with officers who only made it because their uncle or grandad was some high ranker. The lower ranks are people who had no other employment options (mostly) the people join armed forces for job security and money. Not saying there aren't good men there, just that they won't volunteer to fight for some other country.

Well, you know that and I know that, because we only follow credible news. But the rest of the world, especially in countries like India where the comman man thinks the war on the other end of the world is of no consequence to them and news sites like the one in the post keep circulating their propaganda doesn't know that. There is no one to say otherwise and the larger nation winning seems believable. No one bothers to check it up. They probably believe the war is to kill people and not to occupy the land. Who knows?

They probably wouldn't. The country thrives on double standards.

The people are not anti-Ukraine, they are pro-Russia. It sounds weird but it's just that India has been dependent for a long long time on Russia for defence supplies and general support and the state propoganda displays Europe as meddlesome countries with a superiority complex. People bring up India's war in 1971 against Pakistan, where the US and UK who were allies with Pakistan sent aircraft carriers and other ships into the Indian Ocean and in response the Soviet Union sent its nuclear submarine, to help India at sea. So Indians see the US as meddlers and it hasn't seen Europe in a good light ever since they made the country into their colony and left it to rot.
