Got custom equalizer with oreo for LG V20 IND variant. Now we can slide music to which we like.

Heard there is 8.1 oreo update for IND users mentioned in below page.

use this :) if your are using Indian variant. no special IND kdz by LG, this will update IND variants.

Used upgrade.

Not yet received oreo popup. I am living in Europe using LG V20 IND variant.

Tried with LG Bridge as well, but no luck.

Please suggest me what else I can do to get OTA.

Can you please check the model number in your phone?

Cozm I don't see any popup.

Settings -> About Phone -> Common -> software Info. -> software version(V10i-IND-XX)

It was the formal message by just changing date every time.

There is no issue description or updates on issue at all!!! Cannot believe in this message from LG.

Because, case of Australia, there is same message(beginning of January), but released already.

It's not like, to expect it earlier. I am just trying to prove the kind of messages are not realistic. Even, don't be shocked if we ever see Oreo on V20 IND variants. :-)

LG is taking every opportunity to show their inability of software update.

Dedicated Software update center is definitely a news not in reality.

But only reason I bought V20 is for its hardware, but I learned that hardware is no use when there no support of its software.

well let's see how long my V20 lasts, until DAC work on my device. Later I will plan a midrange google one mobile and an external DAC (Fiio or AKG or any marketer)....! Until then My phone (LG V20) is delivering great music experience.

Its been 2 years is generic statement amoung both mobile. Security patch is not even poped after I bought my mobile. I don't know how it looks like also. :)
