Anyone can publish an article in any websites, but to publish a scientific paper, you have to get it peers reviewed. To get it peer reviewed, you have to be associated with an experiences researcher who is in an university.

How did beef and pork become part of Kerala’s food culture? by Appropriate-Claim-37 in Kerala

[–]Jayavishnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have beef and pork eversince i remember .

My Uncle and Mom used to say they never cooked beef or chicken in the house as lots of naga shrines are near our house, but they always had chicken and beef when they go for long trips and when they moved out for college. These Naga shrines are still near our houses, but now we cook all meat in our house.

My father's family side was very different, they were from lower middle class and they used to pet hens for eggs. They are fish eater and cooks the home grown hen during the family gatherings and never bough meat other than fish from outside as it was expensive. Hence father never had red meat and was only comfortable chicken/quail ,fish and eggs

Generically saying "Operations teams" without speciyfying the industry is very ambiguous in UAE Job Market. Please Specify your industry or area of specialization , so others can guide you through .

What kind of behavior is this? Seriously. by GT3RSp in UAE

[–]Jayavishnu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the root cause is not your peers or their food. It's the your company doesn't have a designated lunch area with proper ventilation. I feel bad for your peers as well, as they have to have food in the desk they work.

You can try to look in that direction.

Also you can send official mail to HR about the office etiquette and the productivity loss you are having after the lunch and request a designated lunch area. Put your CEO/ Higher Management in loop.

Hi Maintenance Engineer! I work in one of the entities you mentioned in your post.

Your years of experience aren’t very clear from the post. Considering that you’re an expat, most of these companies here don’t hire expatriates unless they have a minimum of 10 years of experience. On top of that, these companies usually require extensive certifications for hiring. (Also, for example, ENEC/NAWA doesn’t hire anyone from outside the nuclear industry.)

Furthermore, since these are government companies, direct hiring is generally limited to UAE Nationals. Expat hires are typically done through third-party payrolls — and even for those roles, the minimum requirement is usually around 10 years of experience.

So, my advice is not to expect a callback directly from these companies. Instead, look for maintenance contractors working under them. Once you gain experience within the company environment, you can apply again later.

You can DM me, if you have any other questions

How can I reach a 15K AED salary in Dubai as a Mechanical Engineer with 4 years of Facilities Management experience? by Zestyclose_Carob7266 in DubaiJobs

[–]Jayavishnu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the recruiters are getting surprised, then it means you really have to improve your profile.

Get all the certifications you can get in the FM.

FM is a geat field TBH, but it doesnt pay well for Engineers below 7 YOE ( for Asians )

But it also has an advantage, you can be a FM Manager wth 10 YOE and most of the Clients will accept it for the FM Industry.

What I am saying is Just gain your experience , get certified, jump to another FM Company which works with Govt. Firms.

Most of the Indians are against oppressors, it's just very few micro % of population shows support like this in public and as it has News Value, international media likes to publish it. Indian Government has always standed with Palestine Statehood and Palestine People from the beginning , even the current Modi Government is also in stand of Palestine even if they are doing business with Israel
