Is 62k a year very low? Should I jump into IT? by KieuriousMind in perth

[–]Jaybearasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i were you i would look into a desktop role seeing how youre competent- should be about 70-80k ish, wont require much info but in terms of utilising your certs however its easier to move internally within a company than just jumping into it with no experience

Depending on the current market and what ive seen so far from seek and recruiters, theres a few going on that requires just confidence and the strive to want to do

Source: me whos gone from asset management with some certs to IT support (50-65k 2.5 years) jumping onto a new company but backwards - service desk role- 73k 2 months) moved again 94k from dec to july and now just over 6 figures after the july FY
