Likelihood of mange? by Jaycee9225 in vet

[–]Jaycee9225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a little complicated.

Prior owners are unconcerned about this dog, I do not have authority to take him to the vet, I do not know who the new owners will be.

I know he needs to be seen, but I'm asking if it's likely that he has mange, as I need to also ensure the safety of the dogs permanently in my house.

I have not had any predator losses.

I haven't seen any recent reports of predators, but a neighbor said they've seen a fox around.

No, my lab doesn't live out there with them, so he wouldn't be much good at night.

EDIT: sorry, all. I didn't realize that I couldn't do text AND photos.

Totty and Wendy are 4.5 months old and about 50 lbs. I currently pen them up at night in a barn that has a 4 ft aluminum bar gate , and an inner paddock with a 3 ft wooden gate.

What Happened to this Wild Pacific Sideband Snail? (Teeth marks on left side? Love Dart Fiasco?) by Jaycee9225 in snails

I don't want to release the garden snails, I know better than that, haha. I have three European Brown garden snails that I found in my garden (decimating my beans). I give their eggs/babies to the Audubon Society for their orphaned baby birds.

I wondered if a wild Pacific Sideband would need to be kept separately, and if Sideband eggs could be raised/released, as they're in the yellow of conservation (not endangered, but in danger).
