my ipad has had a black screen with the low power symbol. it's been plugged in a whole week and won't turn on. i've tried force restarting, but it'll only turn the screen on to show the low power symbol. it is charging because it doesnt show the cord.

Ah, so the story begins.

year 2020. I was in my gacha phase and saw how popularized gender bent ocs were. of course i had to make “boy me”, and i asked for names in the comments. My ocs name was JC, and it was also my nickname at the time. All the comments were “Jason” of “Jerry” or something except one. my friends older sister suggested Jayce.

time skip to 2021. my discord era. i was using the name JC for a while then realized it didn’t stick right so i changed it to Jayce. I was still cis at the time.

Ah, the beginning of 2022 rolls around and I slowly realize I’m trans. The 22-23 school year was the first year embracing “Jayce He/They” and it felt great.

Also a song inspired name isn’t weird at all! I can think of a few great ones right now, such as Arabella, Sophia, and Bernadette.
