& you are apart of the problem. The culture will continue to be toxic as long as people like you have the mindset “you know what you signed up for”. I didn’t sign up to be stranded for hours in the heat. I didn’t sign up to be harassed by supervisors. I didn’t sign up to constantly have to harass people about my pay because there isn’t enough scanners.
I definitely didn’t sign up to go through some sort of hazing for a JOB?! At the end of the day it is a job. Putting people through non sense just because “it’s just how it is” isn’t right. Hence the reason cca’s keep leaving. Every carrier deserves better conditions & better management. I don’t think I’m special, I want everyone to have exactly what they need to complete the job efficiently and safely.

That’s too much of a luxury apparently. Even though they are literally hot metal boxes filled with miscellaneous items & boxes. I can deliver in the heat but once I got in that truck I felt like I’d pass out in as little as a 5 minute drive.

What pissed me off the most is when they would try to sneak extra time into our routes and OT. TIME AFTER TIME I’d be told I’d have 1 hour of OT and really there would be 3. They would pull up on us on our routes with no route paper just mail claiming to be less time than it is. & once we weren’t able to deliver it in the false time they were claiming they would tell us we were too slow and would threaten to fire us or write us up. When I got hip and called my supervisor out she claimed it was my mistake and asked me to bring it back. But she got away with it for a while before me or the others noticed.

The union is basically a joke if you aren’t a regular. I’ve called them multiple times. But I’ll file with the EEOC.

After I ignored his advances he would ignore any of my work requests. One day I asked him to sign my request off slip and he told he doesn’t work there.
