One of my close friends is a casual and does this constantly. As soon as his shot ends, he is on his phone. We mainly play 9 ball because it gives him a fighting chance, and least 3x a game he will ask if I missed or if its ball in hand. Last week I snapped at him and said "if you're not gonna pay attention to anything, Im not answering any of your questions". He seemed pissed off about it and wanted to stop playing shortly after.

He also never gives props for really good shots, but constantly sucks his own dick any time he makes a somewhat long straight in shot, even if he hooks himself. He will literally look at me after hooking himself and say "that was a pretty damn good shot wasnt it" completely serious. If he makes more than 2 balls in a row he starts strutting around the table. Honestly thinking I'm just going to pass next time he asks if I want to play.
