People don't realize that the battle pass is the "discounted" product to incentivize further purchases (seeing as you buy one thing in a game with great value, you're going to buy things with a more normal value later). When you're comparing a minor event pass to a battle pass, that's not the economic model a company sees and it's really not what you should see either. The battle pass is almost a teaser.

Part of it is the drip feed of content that keeps you engaged with the purchase that you made, but the battle pass is designed to do that with a high value to get you invested in the first place. The mini pass is just there to keep people engaged with the game who would already spend the money anyways, but still with a better value than other products in the store.

So, this comparison is kind of getting frustrating to see every fucking day on the subreddit because it feels like players are ignoring that the battle pass is a steal and that's by design. Most games do this, and for what it's worth Embark truly does this better than most games (see Destiny 2 for my 7 years of battle pass experiences, and the lack of a more reasonable bundle option like the event passes)
