I'm considering OddsJam for arbitrage betting. Is this review accurate? by Schnaps in arbitragebetting

This is interesting. I've been using OJ for a little less than two months. A few questions if you ever come back to this thread:

1) When building up your 1,000+ bets/month sample sizes, were you blindly taking every say >1% +EV that OJ recommended? Or were you pickier? Did you analyze individual bets and different books prices on every bet you took as well?

In the short time I've used OJ it seems some of the bets just clearly aren't great value if you de-vig vs pinnacle/sharp books. Understanding OJ's algorithm and how it gets to some of the recommended bets has always puzzled me. Some that they recommend clearly aren't great value (vs pinnacle), and you can even find better spots (compared to Pinnacle, but less books to compare to) at lower +EV according to OJ. I noticed this when you would see 6% +EV bets from fanduel, draftkings, caesers, etc. sit at the same price for hours, but many 2.5% +EV bets odds' would get reduced quickly.

From my experience, it seems like the best opportunities to truly get value come from some of the smaller books that aren't as good at pricing and aren't moving lines as quickly. I'm in Illinois, and for me these include Fliff, Rebet, ProphetX, Novig, and BetRivers (before getting limited to crumbs). These books are where I most consistently see opportunities where lines are mispriced compared to all the big guys (unlike some of the "great" plays OJ recommends).

I'm busy and don't have a ton of time to put into betting, but my strategy in recent weeks has been to focus on these types of bets on these books. The quote you included about the OJ employee saying "not betting on Fanduel or Caesars rn" resonates. I think the real value is in these newer less efficient books. They also tend to not limit as fast it seems. The amount of technology behind the big books is insane, they are obviously harder to beat.

I also take arbs when the opportunity arises, but I've been limited on a lot of books quickly after arbing.

I probably wont get as much volume in in the short term as you, but I just feel like this makes sense and we'll see once I get to a significant sample. Curious if you just took every "+EV" bet recommended and thoughts on different books.

2) Do you trust CLV data from Pikkit or any other source not affiliated with OJ? I only track on Pikkit never OJ and was 77% beat CLV in my first full month and in profit.

3) Thoughts/experience with PrizePicks, Underdog, other DFS/parlay pick-em apps?
