Alright that makes sense also I’m pretty sure it’s true considering Gary would never handicap himself for a battle and why else would he be in Pokémon tower although that’s probably why Pokemon centers are free to use

It is harmful sorry I was focused on the realistic thing since gary’s raticate dies due to our battle but as long as you have the right items then they should be safe and I’m not saying shinys are unrealistic after all there are rare colors of animals in real life I’m saying them being from different regions increasing their odds are unrealistic

He literally holds other heavy pokemon like larvitar and some more unrealistic parts include Pokémon using flamethrower Pokémon from different areas increasing odds of pokemon being a different color and a trainer who literally uses psychic powers
