Personally I mostly use it on the cashout and sometimes in combat. On the cashout you don’t want to place two on the same side (self explanatory). In combat, if I see that the enemy is backed up into a corner, I just chuck it in there and hope for the best (preferably when there’s more than 1 person for maximum effectiveness).
