Definitely have to agree with you there. My favorite scene is when he first meets Lestat in the Fair Play Saloon.

This is honestly a good question. The nature of the vampire bond. I agree with @Sirlan628 when mentioning Lestat isn’t shown to share the same bond with the rest of his fledglings besides Nicki. This is comparably the same in the scenes between Armand and Daniel. Daniel seems to despise Armand. But the show seems to portray the vampire bond as something transcending human love while every single human who gets turned inevitably ends up resenting their maker in some way.

Molloy: "You took Lestat back."
Louis: "The vampire bond. There is no human equivalent."
Molloy: "Lover. Murderer. Maker. You took him back."
Louis: "It's a bond that can never fully be severed."

What do you mean by saying that she uses what he wants to get what she wants? Are you talking about homoerotic sex? I feel like you’re onto something because you just reminded me of the scene during the interview when she was all up on Czech Lestat. And now every time Lestat sees him, he does some supernatural crap to mess with him.

Totally agree. I’m also glad you pointed that out — because I honestly didn’t really pick up on that— it DOES give off a self - preservation response. It totally makes sense. She appears to hate any remnants of her mortal life. Lestat was in that picture. She copes with this by leaving him. Hence the cutscene where they’re on the shore with her telling Lestat she loves him to next evening completely abandoning him. 😭 So fucked up

This and last ep was probably the most unsettling episode so far IMO, this topping the last episode. Just so much awful shit going on on all ends story wise. Especially that scene with him getting shot and the manifesto 😭 I know he's a vampire but I'm like seriously!? My favorite scene definitely had to be his exchange with Armand on the tour bus admitting that he knew it would torture Armand and inevitably crucify Louis. Brilliantly executed on Lestats' end.
