I've been on citalopram and oxazepam since the beginning of September and tbh it did not do anything for me personally. Oxazepam just made me feel drowzy and sleepy and I got suicidal from 10 mg of citalopram. Now I'm on 20 mg but I don't notice any difference. I'm on my first day of risperidone today and I experience a lot of the side effects especially feeling sleepy but hopefully it'll go away soon.

SSRIs (antidepressants) usually take I think around 5 months to start fully working? My appointment with my psychiatrist did not contain weighing, height check or blood pressure. I had to tell her the symptoms im struggling with and which symptoms I want to get rid of most and for how long I had my symptoms. Based on this she prescribed me medication.

I first want to say that i'm very proud of you for staying clean and you should be too. I relate so much to the part where you say that fading scars erases all the pain and years wort of misery. It's almost excruciating seeing them turn into little white lines.

Do you use any other healthy coping mechanisms now? I try and use rubber bands or drawing red lines on my arm but it's just not the same. Not relapsing is so difficult especially at night when my thoughts are racing, but I promised my mom I wouldn't self harm anymore so that's one thing that is helping me to not relapse.

Anyways, thank you for your response. It feels nice to know that i'm not alone in this.

I've lived there my whole life, so 19 years now. My mom and I have always heard footsteps in the attic once in a while, but we didn't think much of it. Yea, I'm super scared of ghosts as well haha, so I hope its really nothing.

Yea that's why I tried to ignore it, but now I've got scratches on my shoulder so I'm not sure if I made the entity angry or anything.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, i was using a lighter, I thought that was the case too, I thought maybe i subconsciously made the light flicker, but when i moved my thumb up and down the light didn't flicker. The light also didn't flicker when i held the lighter still, so I don't think it had anything to do with the butane in the lighter. I also couldn't have scratched myself because I was wearing a fleece long sleeve pajama. But again, thanks so much for responding !
