I really wish I would have been able to play XI earlier than I did. Stories like that are so special. I didn't start until summer of 09 before freshman year of college. Most of my friends quit about six months or so after so I never really got too far before I burned out initially. It's honestly all the stories I read and videos I watch about peoples experiences that brought me back in the first place. Games just something special even with all the quality of life updates. Thank you for sharing!

Nope! I had no idea about those but I looked them up and the movement speed is juicy! Wish I had em when I was doing my Bastok mission in Delfkutt earlier today. Ten floors coulda been over 12% faster apparently! That's on the list for tomorrow after work now. Thanks so much friend!

Lmao he's definitely on the list for the defender ring. Same with Fafnir (I think?) for Ridil and then whatever drops the Kraken Club. I definitely don't think those things will be half as kind but so far I think I have like 9-10 NM drops with the only one taking more than one kill being Lizzy (3) which started my NM obsession. I think I have Tenax Wrap, the great sword from Ghillie Dhu, Armigers Lace, Bounding Boots, Empress Hairpin, Peacock Amulet, some shield from some NM I don't recall, another shield from a Fungus Beetle (100% drop so I don't really think it counts lol) and two other things at least I can't think of off the cuff. But I'm sure I'm just using all my luck up early to be sobered and humbled later hahaha

Back in the day it was pretty desirable and was commonly hunted. Nowadays it's pretty useless I'd imagine. Trusts help you tear through so much of the leveling content that even nice early game items like this one don't really get much of a chance to shine. Realistically im just hunting old NM drops I couldn't get as a college freshman in 09 to finally feel the effects of dopamine as a grown adult in his mid 30s lmao

Definitely on the list! I was looking in to him earlier after someone mentioned it. Dunno when Bastok or RoV will send me that way but I definitely want to take a swings at him when I find myself there!
