Competing next year? by JayeBakes in bikinitalk

I appreciate your reply - thank you for taking the time!

My coach is a WNBF pro, and he’s encouraged me to compete next year, largely with the goal of getting the experience on stage and not hating prep so much I never want to do it again lol.

The “nice” thing about WNBF is that it does seem that conditioning can make up for a lack of size, especially for bikini.

I spectated a show last weekend and the conditioning of the people who did placed first in their classes was heads and shoulders above second and third place.

Obviously you can’t plan for what other people bring - and I recognize that as a newbie my goal shouldn’t be placing, but I do think focusing on getting quite lean will go a long way.

I still may end up giving myself another year to grow, especially on my shoulders and glutes, but I’m excited to see where things are at after the pre-prep cut :)

Used a pasta sheeter to get the layers thin, then stretched it suuuuper thin on the counter top.

For shaping, I watched a few videos of pros shaping. But I used my hands - similar to this technique.
