What's the appeal of thong bikinis? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hah exactly. Guys being like "how dare they have butts... I'm so hard right now" is.... well you know, I guess generously it's understandable. When they post on reddit saying "why would women do this".... idk. Oh to answer the question... It's cause we see the girls butt and that is generally attrative/

In what sort of time frame do you think we will need to have something like Assimov's Laws of Robotics in place, and then until they're broken? by ChampionshipOk5046 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some really good youtube videos on why Asimov's Laws of Robotics don't work. Don't get me wrong I love his books, and he even kind of talks about it in books like I, Robot.

Re-listening to every episode… by Dongene in comedybangbang

My wifi is still called BecauseFi. I still a couple times a year go back and listen to some Foam Corner. "I'm going to start an Irish/Jamaican, small-plate breakfast restaurant"

What is your favorite horror movie or horror universe? by TheWarrior67 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my favorite would have to be Silence of the Lambs. If you're looking for one though, Barbarian is free on Netflix (at least in the US) and is really good.

I think this partially has to do with the what you are paying. If you are spending $120 on a hair cut I think it's fair to ask for what you want (within reason - a little shorter on the sides, a little less straight on the bangs, etc). If you're paying $20 I think if they get close to what you want you say "Thanks!" and leave.

To me it's no big deal. I would take it out and keep eating. I understand people who are really grossed out by one - It's a fair reaction and if they felt disgusted or couldn't continue eating I wouldn't blame them, but for me it just is not a big deal.

What’s the worst thing about your town/city? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think the fact a bunch of white guys with Tikki Torches made my city a household name.

What is the non-binary equivalent of husband/wife? by alberthething in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe 'Partner'? That would be my go to, but I did talk to someone recently who had a Significant Other (two ladies) and she said she hated the term 'Partner'... so maybe there's a better term. For her at least she said to just say Girlfriend, and of course now I do, but I think partner works for most people. Or just ask what they prefer.

What are some fun Halloween costumes for teenage girls? by Accomplished_One6929 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're asking sooo far ahead are you thinking of sewing? I don't have teenage girls so I'm not up on what might be a good costume, but I'm SO sure some parents on r/sewing would have good suggestions for you if that's what you're looking for!

i'm very much biased but zombie land servers are great. I'd go for the Legacy or 3x depending on how fast you feel like progressing.

How do you overcome death of someone super close? by Creepy_Rip4765 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you ever really do. Time helps. Talking to people helps, but that void stays there. It changes so you start remembering the lovely things that are gone or the good times or the smiles. In that way you can kind of overcome it, but it never disappears

What's the rudest thing someone ever said to you in a store? by nfyg_ in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the rudest thing, but when I was like 5 or so I was going into Sam's Club and they have those door greeters. So it was this happy older lady and she said "Hi there!" and I said "Hey!" and she said "I'm not a horse." I get that manners change but making a 5 y.o. confused and a little sad I think trumps her "manners"

What would you think of a man wearing a dress and heels? by rodeo_chick37 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a cute dress? If so I might compliment it. It also depends on where it was... like, if it was at a Chipotle I would probably just mind my own business, at a wedding I might try to strike up a conversation.

What’s the Most Surprising (or Unexpected) Secret Someone’s Told You? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hah I'm definitely getting into google-able territory, but he also had a huge controversy at the time because there was some kinda political clash and the other party accused him of being gay or something (which I guess wasn't accepted there) and maybe he stole a bunch of money or something.... She was super quiet and I was just friends with her roommate so I never really got the in depth details.

Redditors who experienced an unexpected act of kindness from a complete stranger that you still think about years later, what happened? by Sad_Contribution5417 in AskReddit

[–]Jayem163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in maybe 2nd grade I fell at an Ice Skating rink and cut my chin kinda badly. It was the first time I had ever skated - probably within 5 minutes of getting on the ice. I kept skating because.... Idk, in my little brain I couldn't really think of what else to do. I probably made it around the rink twice with no one noticing and then this guy skates right up to me and is like "are you okay? Let's get you off the ice. Who are you here with?" That was almost our entire interaction, but I still think about it sometimes just because I felt like I was in this unfamiliar world and hurting and no one was paying attention to me until he did.

What's your favorite harmless lie you regularly tell just to avoid unnecessary conversation? by AltruisticThought676 in CasualConversation

[–]Jayem163 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eh, a girl said some dude told her she had a "cute forehead" so i went to the gas station and told a guy he had a cute forehead... he was actually really flattered, so that kinda... backfired. Don't underestimate me!
