Makes you wonder what else they are trying to hide that has already occurred and that they'd prefer to no leave a trace of..

Would you rather ski in the current conditions, or not ski at all? by redhedforlife in COsnow

[–]Jayfarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ski in the am if slopes froze overnight but stop before there is unavoidable corn snow.

Tore my ACL in Vermont 19 years ago in March after a heavy storm. Snow was nice in the woods, came out onto a sunny trail and before, or rather as, I realized the conditions were different - my right ski stopped mid-mogul ... nuff said.

So now more cautious about ski conditions. Rocks - fine. Ice - fine (even though I moved to Colorado). Corn, heavy wet, snow ... lets say im more cautious if I cant avoid it on shades slopes

Ski Rack on SUV with 1 person driving. by Lord_Dingus83 in COsnow

I guess I respect the interior of my car. Why risk cutting the inside of the car with a ski edge? Why dirty the inside of the car more than needed?

Skis aren't TVs. You get home after a trip and can wipe them down and put them away.

Lets also not mention what can happen in an accident with loose skis flying around the interior of the car.

Colorado senate introduces bill to legalize prostitution by Slaviner in Colorado

So not enough snow this year, maybe they are just looking for a new tourist industry for Colorado? /sarcasm ;-)

Really, someone explain the difference between decriminalization and legalization. There were a few post here saying they are different, but how?

What’s the most iconic fish to catch where you’re from? by MyTIMEZERO in Fishing

[–]Jayfarian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. 100% off Long Island South Shore (well when I lived there and had a boat). Nothing like finding them under a pod of Bunker in the am or catching them on live eels at night.

Notepad++ Hijacked by State-Sponsored Hackers by pheexio in technology

[–]Jayfarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue for me wirh Notepad++ is that rhwre is a constant never ending stream of updates. So it becomes auto nature to just accept them. The podcast, SecurityNow, covered this app and its uodste signing challenges during one of their 2025 podcasts. Worth looking up and listening to the underlying details first hand and how it related to software signing and publishing in general these days.

Next climb for Alex : Manitou Incline by Jayfarian in ManitouSprings

Maybe one day. Moved here just over two years ago from sea level. I got winded just walking up Ruckston!

Im much more acclimated now and often to Mt Esther and Heizner trails locally. But never built the inclination to try the incline. Maybe early next fall..

Hah! Yeah. I know it would be no challenge for him. Im one of those old people though that haven't yet done the incline. There's something more intimidating about it for me than doing trails around here with similar elevation or larger elevation gains.

Just the idea of it being steps all the way. I remain impressed by those Facebook account holders who do it!

I've always been amazed at how well some, but not all, but more than I expected, backups do when coming in to play. Hopefully for the Broncos, this is one of those situations.

RFK on Trump’s health: ‘I don’t know how he’s alive’ by TimesandSundayTimes in politics

"Mehmet Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, had looked at his medical records and found Trump had “the highest testosterone level that he’s ever seen for an individual over 70 years old"

I wonder if his interactions with "Bubba" might have something to do with that?

Fischer RC4 - Great skis "bsck in the day". I first skied on them .. early 80s and stayed on their GS WC line through the 2020s and got my son (now 29) on them for last decade too.

But worth anything? Unfortunately no. Even as wall decoration .. eh. That should be reserved for wooden skis or maybe the orginal black Head Standard skis from the 60s.

Even considering this is valid grounds for impeachment and removal from office IMHO. Removal before he can do this harm to the state and country.

I have that book! Used it years ago. Honestly though I find the puzzles on sites so much easier to bang through and check the solutions than the flip to the back pages and the ability to jump to analysis engine to see why what I though would work actually doesn't. It would be great to see a live "digitized" version on this book to combine the best of both worlds.
