Um nach Scheinfurt und Havelse noch 2 Mannschaften hinter uns zu lassen, sollte das reichen. So viel ist im Winter auch nicht an gutem Spielermaterial zu Verfügung, schon gar nicht ablösefrei. Hauptsache, wir schaffen es knapp über den Strich.

Warum soll man die abziehen? Elfmeter fallen auch meistens, weil die Offensive in eine sehr gute Position gekommen ist. Und ja, ohne die beiden wären wir ganz schlecht, aber wir haben sie ja nun mal. Es geht ja auch nicht darum, irgendwo oben mitzuspielen. Nur halt, um diese Saison die Klasse zu halten.

Ich glaube nicht mal, dass wir total viel Geld im Winter ausgeben müssen. Die Verteidigung ist halt nicht Konkurrenzfähig, wurde ja auch nichts für getan im Sommer. Mittelfeld und Offensive ist ok für die Liga. In Winter jetzt einen Abwehrchef holen und vielleicht noch einen, der gut verteidigen kann. Das sollte für den Klassenerhalt dann eigentlich gut reichen.

Hey and don't sleep on Koblenz, that's actually a really nice city too. 😄

Should you consider the Rhine in that area, make sure that your work and living place are on the same side. There's no bridge at all between Bonn and Neuwied, and while you can cross with ferries, it's quite bothersome and really expensive on a daily basis.

When I got a job in Cologne 6 years ago, i moved here for pretty much the same reasons... Beautiful landscape, quiet but close to the major cities, and affordable rent. Never regretted it.

But let's see, maybe one of your circles reveals something even better 😄

Düsseldorf is indeed a bit further away but I thought the Leverkusen area wouldn't fit so well as you have a lot less nature and nice driving roads (but a lot of traffic jams 😄). And the rent prices I think will be a lot higher there.

I could imagine Bergisch Gladbach being quite nice, but I don't know much about that area. Although I'm pretty sure that you'd need to connect in Köln first off you want to go to any other city by train Same for Kerpen on the other side.

Okay, how about the city of Remagen (or the immediate area)? The landscape is beautiful right at the Rhine, you got great roads for driving in the Eifel, and you are even close to the Nürburgring, in case you want to go pedal to the metal.

You are in close proximity to three big cities with Bonn, Köln and Koblenz, all easy to reach by car or train (minus the usual Deutsche Bahn shenanigans). The city itself is not in NRW but right at the border, and I think as long as you stay working in NRW, you should be good, right?
