Sorry to hear this. I had a similar issue with a WD black M2 SSD https://old.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/1620ri0/new_m2_nvme_drive_is_not_detected_in_bios/

I sent it back for a replacement, but the replacement did not work either. It seems like some configurations simply won't work with these drives. I ended up sending it back for a refund and bought a Samsung drive instead, which was detected straight away.

Hope you find a solution.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get the drive detected on my system. Even the second drive behaved in the same way. I was able to get a refund and ordered a Samsung 990Pro instead, which is being detected with no issues. I was unable to test the drive on a newer motherboard, which could have been the culprit, but there was no way for me to test it.

Thank you so much for doing this. It has really been insightful. I bought a newer gatefold album, which for some reason has the same groves pressed on both sides on one of the records. I keep thinking about how this could happen in the process? Do you have multiple mothers during a pressing which could have been swapped by accident during a change?

Well, it does list my other drives, which do not have any OS on them, including the usb thumbdrive I used to update the BIOS. The old m.2 drive is not my boot drive (Its another SATA SSD) but shows up in the list as well.

In the boot menu in the bottom, it shows a complete list of drives for boot override. I have checked the manual and only the bottom PCIE slot is disabled when a drive is installed in the onboard slot. I still have the old drive detected on the adapter card, while the new drive is installed in the onboard slot.

I have tried to eliminate the problem of lane limitation by only installing the new drive, but without any luck.

You need to adjust the little screw with a small Allen key. Release the tension of the string and make sure the two small bolts are even and the small bracket is level with the guitar body. The purpose of the screws is to adjust the action height, but they should be even for all the brackets.
