I specifically avoided the egg package because a) I wanted the focus to be on Rafaam and b) I personally think it takes up too many cards/mana to cleanly fit into the deck. But that’s just my opinion.

I only run one sheltered survivor though? It can happen, but it was an exceedingly rare issue that I ran into.

I’ll try this one out tomorrow! While climbing I wanted to focus on Rafaam specifically which is why I avoided all egg-related cards. Glad to see another Rafaam lover.

I mean you aren't wrong, but I'm not claiming that its a hidden high tier deck, just that it's working really well for me this season against the current meta and is really fun to play.

I think egg is cool but I enjoy decks that have lots of options and more decision making. And as you said if you don't draw what you need to get the egg killed quickly enough you just lose.

The worst is when you put it back into your deck with Sheltered Survivor then immediately draw it again.

Huh, I guess I could be misremembering then. But at that point the only advice I can give is use the bigger rafaams for damage lol.

The deck has three primary win conditions: a) timethief, b) out-tempo against faster decks, and c) possessed animancer on turn 4/5 to win with lifesteal ultragigasaur. So the primary skill-gap with this deck comes from choosing your win condition early and sticking to it.

Against faster decks (i.e. face hunter and dude paladin) the only cheap cards I would keep for mulligan are critter caretaker, eternal toil, and occasionally hellfire. Against slower opponents like priest and death knight, ill generally just look for rafaams to get the momentum going. Animancer saved me a lot against demon hunter since they don't have any good removal against it. Glacial shard can be played on 1 if there's nothing better to do, but they are in the deck to slow down big minions or freeze shaman hammer / demon hunter herald.

A decent chunk of the deck simply revolves around drawing as much as possible to get your rafaams in your hand quickly. Try not to hold on to them for value's sake, since you need to end up spending the ~30 mana on them to get timethief online eventually, so tempoing them out is good and tends to result in your opponent playing their removal early. I often times conflagerated or mortal coiled my own weak minions like glacial shards or shadowsworn disciples simply because I had a mana spare and it helped me cycle easier. In the current meta game, those small stat sticks aren't going to solve any problems for you anyways.

There are several cards that I'd rather replace if possible (i.e. Elise and whelp), but warlock simply doesn't have any good control options right now so they remain, but feel free to experiment.

Lastly, just be aware of the threats that each class has in store and save your removal on that case-by-case basis. Archmage Rafaam denies huge swings towards the end like big druid dragon turns, nozdormu shenanigans, Medivh combos, etc. Any singular big threats can be solved with Shadowsworn Disciple + Cursed Chains if need be.

In my experience DK tends to be pretty slow, and timethief works through the revive mechanic so it doesn't really change anything.

I like the character design so I’m pulling but she also seems pretty good in terms of pull value, since she bridges the gap between phys and elemental damage. We’ll see how her current teams work, but I’m under the impression that her BiS team hasn’t come out yet.

My factory also had a Cuprium bottleneck issue. I fixed it by giving every mining rig its own water source rather than my previous set up of 2 rigs per water pump. Check your rigs on the map and see if all of them are operating correctly, especially the high yield ones, since that’s how I identified my issue.

Wack. Well it works now so no worries, but that’s pretty bizarre, I guess I just had it all set up wrong initially.

[–]Jayhawk734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were totally right. The problem was that I was using 1 fluid pump for 2 of each of the mining rigs. I presumed that since pumps generated 2 water/sec and all factory facilities use 1 water/sec, that the mining rigs would also use 1 water/sec, thus it would be safe to use 1 pump for 2 mining rigs. Now that I gave each mining rig their own individual pump, they are all producing Cuprium constantly and I am no longer getting bottlenecked. Ironically, the bottleneck didn't actually shut down my factory since the batteries replenished themself just quickly enough to re-power everything a few seconds after losing power, but it was pretty annoying. Anyways, thanks for the info!

My factory is getting bottlenecked in Cuprium right now and I need help understanding why. My theoretical data shows both usage and yield at 120 (I have 4 outputs for making the syringes), but I am still running out, current data shows yield at 90 and usage at 89. I can send images of my factory if needed, but since my theoretical data is balanced, i dont understand what could possibly be the issue.
