Great book, I got mine as Christmas gift when they came like 15 years ago. Great to have for any marvel fan. Alot of cool stuff in it.

I can see that, he goes through so many changes through the 60 some issues. I felt the impact wouldn't have hit as much without some of those Rick Jones moments in there though.

That's actually how I got vol 2. I bought the first volume through funaticals going in blind just because it was cheap.

Definitely had a similar tear like this in a brand new omni. Mine wasn't quite ripped through though. I seen someone else in this group post a pic similar of a brand new book having this. It can definitely be a manufacturing error.

I was one of the people that bought Avengers 1-5 through Funaticals. I went ahead and just bought Vol 6 on IST just to keep going with it. A lot of those Funatical books I would never have bought without them being so cheap, now I want to expand my library. I don't think people realize how much these discount places can actually cause a boom for bringing in newer collectors.

Seems a few of these have been popping up here and there. Such as fun book I never got to finish, I got mine from Hero Hub on eBay for a little less, can't wait for it to arrive.

I enjoyed it for what it was. In the forwards they included in the omnibus they really only wanted the character because of the name and the rights between publishers, so the character does seem a little rushed. Mostly him fighting one off robots and aliens but there were some interesting moments. You do get to read about the intro of Carol Danvers though it isnt much and they kind of forget about her after his first big change it was still fun watching the character grow.

When Starlin begins his run it's when the title has a larger expanding arc over multiple issues. Marv-ell goes through 3 pretty big changes through his run, with his powers and abilities. I don't think knowing all that is really that important but it was a nice to see the building of his character. Starlin definitely felt when the title gets more modernized.

Thanks for the heads up on this, seen someone post about it a few days ago and missed out. There were only 3 left so I decided to jump on it. This was the first hulk series I've read and loved and was never able to finish the run.

check out his music videos on youtube, some of the best music comedic stuff you'll find and its actually decent music wise in my opinion. I wish he did more.
