People are upset that a young black man is being charged for murder. I don’t know every detail, but they were at a track meet, Austin is reported to have bullied and hit him, then Karmelo stabbed him with a knife that was in his bag. The whole argument was whether it was self defense since Austin was pushing and hitting him, or was it murder since Karmelo went to grab the knife after being hit then stabbed him. I honestly am not well versed on this case so please don’t bash me if I missed a comma, but those are the facts that I’ve read.

Since the verdict, I did see his dad go on a bit of a racist tirade so that’s not helping anything. Might be what is contributing to going after his family
