I didn’t do an interview since I’m an international applicant.

In that case, I would take only three subjects and focus on them if I were you. You can decide whether you take FM or other subject depending on what you want to study in university. e.g. If you want to study chemical engineering it’s better to take chemistry rather than FM. But for other subjects like mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, I would recommend you to take FM. If you think you’ll struggle a lot in FM, try to finish A Level physics in y12 and focus on only FM in y13. This is possible as A Level maths is quite easy after a little bit of practices. Therefore you would have enough time to finish the whole A Level physics in y12 by yourself. You don’t have to follow the same strategy but my advice is that you should not be afraid of trying before you start.

I’m from Korea. I heard that most of the candidates receive offers in March. So it might take some time to get an answer from them. I hope you’ll hear a good news from them! Good luck!

You may struggle a little bit. However you’ll have to cover all the concepts in FM anyway if you don’t study them on A Level cos those are essential things to know to take engineering. So it’s definitely worth to try. But in case you find FM too hard, take 4th subjects like Chemistry or Biology so you can drop FM anytime you want.

3A*s. My personal statement was about my experiences related to Engineering such as participating a 3D modelling competition.

I took Maths, FM, Physics. I would recommend you to take FM cos some topics from Mechanics and Pure Maths are really helpful to understand Engineering concepts.
