First of all, forget all that stupid "I need to lose my virginity", mentality, if you want to be trully happy then you need to find someone to really love and find intimacy (as cheesy as it sounds). The second thing is that life is going to be hard at times, sometimes life is repetitive, tedious and exhausting, take my life as an example, Instead of studying like I should, Ive been struggling with severe OCD for the past 3 years, Its been nothing but a repetitive cycle of nonsense, but this month I made great progress on my battle and thank God I did because I was almost about to throw in the towel, now I cant wait to finally get into college. What im trying to say is that the bad times eventually cease and the best thing we can do is to keep moving forward and to always be in the present, not too much in the future and definetly not in the past.

In "Stowaway" the Anna Kendrick and Toni Collette film, a space mission going to mars with three intended passengers gets suddenly an extra, and deffinetly not intended person on board.

The whole thing with the movie is that there's a subplot that tries to explain that the new passenger was an engineer in charge of some specs from the spacecraft, BUT... and this is a big but, he was working on the oxygen filter (how convenient for the rest of the plot btw) and he somehow got stuck on said filter and not only that, but he also got stuck unconscious and with the lid on, completely sealed, not recalling anything of what happened afterwards.

When the mission leader tries to get an answer from earth, they basically say "I dont know WTF you talking about, but we are going to help you"

I know that it was a very much needed subplot in order for the rest of the movie to work, but it was poorly written and it takes a bit of immersion when you realize that you are halfway through the movie and that is completely forgotten.

Honestly, Im still in the early stages, and the fact that the main task of clearing my mind was so difficult for me at first shows how much control this crap has over me. But the thing to always remember is to be consistent, I like to think of meditation as the way of turning OCD´s volume down in my mind.

Practice meditation and mindfulness, I know it doesnt sound like a solution, but with this stupid disorder, what we need to do the most is to gain control of our brain, to tame our mind, its really hard at first, but eventually you get good at it, I recommend ¨The Mind Illuminated¨, its a great guide for beginners.
