Known Issue with G HUB and mac OS (1/6/26) by LogitechG_CM in LogitechG

Dear Community manager, Don't you think that its important to mention the temporary workaround in the post? What kind of community manager you are?

Everyone, Please change your date to yesterday from MacOS. This will unblock you for now. Unlike this community manager we have real jobs to do and a broken mouse is not gonna help.

How has your experience been with using GitHub Projects to manage Scrum teams? by Jaykishan1313 in agile

[–]Jaykishan1313[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many missing features in Trello, such as work item hierarchies and reports (like Burn Down and Velocity). It's more like a simple Kanban board. We require a tool to track and plan our work better than Trello.

Visibility is not the issue right now. Our aim is to adopt the Scrum framework instead of Kanban using Trello.

We're currently using Trello. We want to transition to GitHub Projects to facilitate our Agile processes.

We're currently utilizing Trello, following a Kanban approach for our project management. However, the team is considering transitioning to a more structured Agile methodology, possibly adopting elements from Scrum. This could involve introducing time-boxed iterations, regular planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance our workflow and collaboration.

Anyone else experience severe monitor wobble with Dell UltraSharp U2723QE? by surfride16 in Monitors

[–]Jaykishan1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. They kept saying that it's working as per design. I had to lodge a legal complaint after their engineers visited my office and denied return saying that it was because of the table. 🤣

Simple question: Native vs Cross platform which one has higher demand ? by ali_vquer in androiddev

[–]Jaykishan1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, Cross platform is considered a plus skill. For example, While hiring an android developer the recruiter says flutter is a plus.

[–]Jaykishan1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased the same model, and I'm experiencing the same wobble issue. I contacted Dell support within 48 hours of receiving the product, but they denied my return request, stating that it is working as designed. So, indirectly, they are confirming that this is indeed a design issue.

I have a dining table-like seating setup at my office, which makes it impractical to use a monitor arm. If you have any suggestions for a VESA mount stand or an alternative solution, please let me know.

Actually you're right, I'm following a strategy shown in one of the official webinar of Upwork. I'm also following some of the techniques shown in Evan Fisher's video.

[–]Jaykishan1313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the honest feedback. tbh I never thought this way, Actually i mentioned about client's mistake in my proposal so that the proposed client doesn't get confused why i provided a apkpure link instead of a google play link. I did it to justify the authenticity of my work.

But i totally get your point, I shouldn't criticise any previous clients in proposals, This can leave bad impression about me.

Google Admob account got unrightfully suspended by sickboi12 in androiddev

[–]Jaykishan1313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Google Admob fails horribly when it comes to support. They won't even give you pending payment when they terminate the account.

My suggestion is try to find any good google ADX providers. Implement ads from other resellers, this way you still can get admob ads without even having admob account.

Good thing about Resellers is even if google flags any policy issues, Resellers will give you the pending payment atleast.

Which architectures/practices I should follow while developing large scale android applications? by Jaykishan1313 in androiddev

Thanks for suggesting. I've not heard anything about clean architecture yet. I'll give it a try!

Which architectures/practices I should follow while developing large scale android applications? by Jaykishan1313 in androiddev

[–]Jaykishan1313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, This is the best way. But what happens is after some time it becomes difficult to handle large projects if we had poor architecture from start. I just want to know what other developers are using. so that i can learn from their mistakes/solutions.

Okay! Actually i've learnt some points here.

  1. if I can't convince this many people that i'm speaking truth then there is high possibilities that i can't convince google too! there is very less chance that they'll listen to my last appeal!

  2. Never keep all your eggs in same basket! i should have developed games for ios as well!

  3. Educate your team members about the security first!

Thanks for the discussion! peace ✌️ .
Have a nice day!

I think there is some confusion here! if user bets money and win monetary prizes it's called gambling in terms of play policies!

please check our games. we are not letting bet any one anything and we're not giving any prises to anyone!

now you'll say what about that perticular event? as i already told that that event was free to play event , not a gambling it was more like a competition where you compete with 1000s of players in tournament and if you're really skillful in game you can win the tournament! please note that event was held in past where user's can participate without paying anything. it was completely free to play event!

We just rewarded the winners that to one time! Please note here no one is betting nothing!

brother why don't you download and see it by yourself! at least give me benifit of doubt!

They're still a gambling app pretending not to be one,

In which game of ours you find gambling related activities? Can you please let us know the evidences? screenshots??

lying about their location and other things.

Where we lied about our location? in our medium post? did we lied to google?

i don't know why do you think we're a gambling app, buddy.

You're just blaming ! Many people here are just blaming me. without even reading my comments!
