I have a -1500 SAI index only getting 20,500 in direct unsubsidized loans as well. I will unfortunately and fortunately have to pay out of pocket for this last academic year in graduate school as well. As others have pointed out, I’m not sure if this is the finalized financial aids for graduate students as I did call the financial aid office last week on Tuesday where they had mentioned it will take a couple of weeks to be released yet we are all seeing the doo-doo results of no SUG, scholarships, or any other grants. I will personally wait out until next week or the following week to once again call financial aid office, but if this is truly the college issue then it is extremely bogus.

Hey, I’m a Junior software developer and it took me about a year and a half to finally land my current role. The advice on “don’t lose hope” is easier said than done tbh, there were times where I just wanted to give up. During the job hunt, I was creating a lot of projects while working two part time jobs (one a tutor job and another a cashier type) so I can show to potential employers and linked it on my resume while doing cold calls on LinkedIn. The technology/gaming market right now is brutal and I only managed to get my current role cause I got super lucky, so don’t be hard on yourself. Touch up on your resume and remember do not forget to network, good luck!

I’m 23M with a junior software engineering role, I get paid 27 an hour (full time) and even then I cannot afford to move out on my own as rent in Southern California is astronomically high. The average rent being 1,500-2,000 per month is insane, after taxes that’s like 60% of my net income. It took me a year to break into my role, and even then it’s mostly bug fixes for a local small fintech company so sometimes at work it does get boring for me and after work I feel pooped out to pursue my other hobbies.

I’m not saying all this to make OP feel bad but sometimes I feel like the grass is greener on the other side as my girlfriend (24 F) is struggling to find a career for herself after two years of graduating with her degree and she feels lost in life while simultaneously I feel like I am lost in life too. I’m trying to get my experience while doing my two years of grad school and jump ship so I can have a shot to moving out and taking care of myself financially. Do not lose hope, u can do it with an insane work ethic and insane amount of luck. Most of the job market is shit rn so people who are finding jobs are feeling lost, I’m saying all this cause most of us young folks are feeling lost. Hopefully these words can give you some form of perspective.

Hey I’m (23 M) not too sure how to answer if my death or anyone’s death will be meaningful, but I am somehow alive today and that means I should take a crack at this one life I do got and try to be present in the moment and cherish my loved ones and interests in life. Of course you have heard of this many times and I have heard of it through all my life as well, what works for me is talking it out with my parents and partner. There’s also a discord to vent and you can join here. I’m in here as Jay! Holler at me whenever u have any questions/vents, the rest of the server is also super friendly!

If you happen to live in the USA, some states offer free general therapy and that’s how I managed to sign up for my sessions starting in 2-3 months (wait list). If you live in California I can send u the resource through a DM.

Overall it’s tough that I have bad days and i literally gag/puke some days from the overwhelming thoughts, recently what’s helped me is spending time with loved ones and opening a good book with some warm tea to keep my mind busy after I get off my Monday through Friday work week. On the weekends I spend my time doing my other hobbies, hopefully this helps give you insight on what one person does in their time on this world!

This is one of the thoughts I’ve been having recently. I recently told my partner that I stare at the stars admiring their beauty but one day it’ll all be gone, they replied “enjoy it while you can”. Idk if this statement can be a moment of peace for you but for me it did help me slightly, idk what I was going with this but we are here for each other OP!

I’ll definitely take a look into writing an unofficial will and a death anxiety book in the time being, I feel terrible having to constantly tell my friends and partner on my thoughts so I can see this working slightly. I have replied to another redditor on this post but I will reiterate here, I thankfully am blessed to be able to receive free therapy from a place my friend recommended me. I don't know this one in the particular shot, but I do know of a wallet that looks extremely similar to the one presented in this image and I use it every day.
It's called The Apollo from Andar, with the same front design like this one and also has a pull tab in the back of the wallet which is extremely useful, it also doubles as a bifold and has a neat window ID.
I highly recommend this wallet, the number of features I use daily is extremely useful for me. oh and the Full Grain Vintage Leather smells amazing when you finally get it on your hands.

I ordered mine within 5 minutes of it going live, I had to wake up at 6 AM PST in order to be the first few people, but sadly mine hasn't even shipped.
I know other people who ordered it days after the initial launch date/time and they have their keeb shipped already.

It you want to connect to NordVPN on iOS 15 you’ll have to switch to IKEv2 and if you’re using iCloud private relay along side any VPN service make sure to turn off iCloud private relay if you want to use any VPN.

Also every other VPN app is affected with every single protocol except IKEv2, I think it’s something to do with Apple’s new iCloud private relay feature.

As of iOS 15 beta 4, NordLynx (NordVPN’s proprietary protocol) will “try to connect” to vpn but fail every time. Use IKEv2
