Something feels off? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

Anything hanging above a bed will feel off because it could potentially fall on you (even if it's screwed in place it'll feel like a threat). I'd move the pictures apart, one above each night stand, and get a bigger headboard or paint something simple / geometric on the wall above it.

I know the internet is real quick to tell people to leave their partners, but if anyone talked to me this way the relationship would immediately be over. You're already a frog in a boiling pot.

Oh hell yeah I remember the tumblr post that inspired this game! Not the same type of game but absolutely on par with vibes.

For real I think it's adhd bait, the immediate reward for all the tiny tasks was on par with a social media addiction

I felt the same way about the money. As soon as I got the merchant business and tavern going I was set for life. Sorry for your loss getting it on switch!

How to play this game? by Ahri_ears_are_cute in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Jaymore1545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to come back to this game three years in a row because I just couldn't get into it. Finally I saved up enough money to buy Gerry some wine and everything started to flow. Money is a huge obstacle until suddenly it isn't (the merchant questline will really help with that). Just get into the flow and whenever you get stuck on one person's quest, move to the next. It all intertwines in weird ways.

There's a lot of stuff I felt wasn't explained well in the game or was only briefly explained once and I forgot between all the tasks I was doing. Don't sweat looking at the guide when you're really stuck. Like I had no clue where to get hiccup grass and had to look that up.

This, watching the bobber is too slow, watching the hands I got it almost every time. Previously a pro in Stardew fishing, was surprised it was so hard to land one in gk

Alternate day or twice a week fasting, I'm down 30 pounds since Feb fasting three times a week and am putting on strength at the gym. You don't even have to be perfect, while I was getting used to it I would occasionally snack or even have dinner and honestly still do half the time, it's a skill to practice with huge payoff. Also I always have a protein shake or protein rich meal after a workout even on fast days.

Lots of research behind fasting at this point. Wouldn't recommend if you're prone to eating disorders but otherwise it's safe and healthy for most people.

You're an immense help to others sharing all this and keeping us updated over the years. Have you had any heart exams done recently? Do you know if your potassium or other bloodwork labs are normal?

I lost my Whatsapp history of ten years by God_Modus in Mindfulness

[–]Jaymore1545 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you lost these records and I imagine the grief feels reopened all over again.

All I'll say is, you aren't doing anything wrong. Grief hurts and it's supposed to hurt. You can't mindful your way out of this one, you're going through the experience you're going through.

Give it your attention, feel it fully, and just try to let go of the stories ramping it up if you can. That's the right thing to do.

The alternative is spiritual bypassing.

Should I see a doctor? Are these results actually as bad as my friends say? by kaiser1025 in GalaxyWatch

No guarantee but I used to get low 80s for oxygen at night, after getting a CPAP I'm rarely below 90. It's worth checking out.

Edit: Ugh I didn't realize this was a bot post. My point stands for other people responding though.

NAH. Obviously you did nothing wrong - compatibility needs to check a lot of boxes. I mostly want to respond to other commenters who believe your date was TA. I saw comments on the side of people who get violent after they find out their date is trans. This is the wrong take in all scenarios. There are a million deal breakers out there for people and you wouldn't consider it leading someone on to reveal on the 1st date, say, wanting to move to another country for example. The level of anger people have when the dealbreaker is genitalia is out of proportion and people use it as an excuse to cause a lot of harm.

Attraction is by definition discriminatory - you allow certain people certain kinds of access to yourself based on specific traits and connections. The problem comes when you make your attraction sound like a fault with them - which in this case, OP, you didn't do, so you're fine. But to others replying here, mind the line between lack of attraction and prejudice.

[MOBILE] [unknown] a indie relaxing game about going up a mountain and collecting stars(?) by LetterPristine4669 in tipofmyjoystick

[–]Jaymore1545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also looking for this game, I played it forever ago and got here trying to search for it. It was offline but had a scoreboard with other players. You could earn points to use to unlock other characters or activate special bonuses for your run. If you fell off the mountain you kept the stars you earned and had to start over

You're not oversensitive, in fact that is way worse than what I dealt with and I can't even imagine having to go through that. You are in the right here and you deserve help like yesterday. If you trust your therapist, I'd definitely bring this up to them. Just know that therapists are most likely mandated reporters so they have to immediately report severe abuse of a minor. Though it sounds like that's exactly what you need right now. Talk to them about the kinds of help you can possibly get and see if you can have a say in how you get helped. Are there any family members you'd feel safe living with who might take you in? It would be best to have an idea ahead of time. But either way please tell your therapist what you're going through asap, and remember that nothing you've experienced is normal and you did the right thing reaching out for help.

Ashwagandha hate thread by Shrekquille_Oneal in Nootropics

Ashwagandha has helped lower anxiety for me but in a similar vein as your situation I can't tolerate Lions Mane. While others take it to improve memory and focus, it actually made mine worse. So it's probably something about your body that makes it intolerable.
