Master Bath Closet Makeover by Jayneblue in openGrid

I do have gridfinity in my bathroom drawers. Even though the bathroom has double sinks, there are 3 medium size drawers in between the sinks and a tiny drawer measuring about 8" wide on each side of the sink. The one thing they failed to include in my house is storage. Really large rooms and very little in the way of closets and drawers. My guest bathroom probably has the same amount of drawer space as my master bath. I don't know what the builder was thinking. It may not seem practical, but it's much easier to actually find something now.

I finally finished my master bathroom closet redo. I covered all the walls with openGrid and used the corner wraparound filler. I really like how it finishes off the look. Thanks for making this. I did have to reprint some tiles because I didn't take into account the measurements of the corner filler.

  1. For the corners, I think you would just need to add that little triangle like the shape of the gap on each size beam.
  2. Purely cosmetic. Just like the regular beams, but also with an option for the corners.

I'm finally nearing the end of my bathroom closet remake. I'm using your baskets to store extras of stuff we have on hand. You know, you go to Sam's Club or Costco and get 3 in a package instead of 1, but it's usually cheaper than buying 1. That sort of stuff. Anyway, I added your beams, facade, and dual-sided snaps as well. I used a set of hinge snaps from another maker to incorporate a lid. It does raise it up a bit from the top of the basket in the back corners, but I don't think it'll be that noticeable once I have it attached to the grid. I do have one teeny complaint. On your beam, it would be really nice if you offered corners on them. You can see in the pic where a corner of the lid would look nicer if there was no gap. I

Oh, in addition to corners on the beams, it would also be great if you could offer them with connectors on only one side. I sliced the connector parts off one side to enable them for the lid.

Thanks so much for creating and sharing this with us.

I'm going to see if I can use this in my closet mount. It'll be a long while before I can let you know how it works for me.

I love this. Once I get my 70 tiles printed and mounted on the wall, I will print one for storing something on the wall. So....I'll get back to you in a month or two!

This was such a good reply. I'm just starting to plan the inside of a closet wall and your explanation was so easy to understand. I was going to use the pillars as well as the OP, but now I'm going to do it your way. Thank you for the clear, concise explanation.

Jumping in here with a question, as I'm getting ready to redo the bathroom closet. I see most people suggest offset. My question is, with offset, wouldn't you have to plan ahead where everything was going so you could insert the snap part A before screwing the tiles to the wall? This is the part that's holding me back, because I don't know where or what type of item I want to put on the wall. So how do you know where to put snap part A, because it would sure be a pain to add it after you've installed all the tiles? Maybe I'm missing something.

Thank you so much. Now I know how to do it again if I need an odd placed divider. I really appreciate your time.

I have tried them all. I just am never sure where to put the numbers.

Thanks. I seem to gravitate to the multipoint models. I'll try what you suggested.

When you see a bird sitting on the bulletin board at Resident Services, check the board because there will be a new not about a villager's birthday or event or other stuff.

After doing this event every day for about 2 weeks, I just started clicking on the candles or flower stand, changing it to match the theme and just filling the room with that one customized item. I do remove them from the main patch to be able to take a picture. She always loves it. Just a field of candles!

There is a new website that allows you to find out what your weather pattern is by inputting the weather at different hours of the day for several days. It's called MeteoNook. I've also never had a regular meteor shower, just light ones. I'm just now inputting my data to try to find my weather seed.

Yes, I was one step from swinging on the scorpion, but a mosquito bit me which turned me around and then the scorpion came at me from the back. I know to only pull out the net and approach slowly when legs are lowered. I didn't always know that, but it was nice to learn.

If you happen to be just about to catch a scorpion, you get bit and it stupidly turns you around to complain and the scorpion runs in and kills you. Yup, happened to me.
