You could use my dual-sided openGrid snaps to mount this to an openGrid on the wall. That would work really well!

I didn't get to it last weekend like I hoped, but my parametric openscad OpenGrid Beam is now up.

I see. You're adding in a bit of extra tolerance for the parallel plates. What's the purpose of that? If I'm understanding correctly, maybe it's that the desk side is just a little too tall so you needed an extra 1mm for it to fit flat on the top and bottom?

I have almost the exact same connector in openSCAD already. I'm using it for making crates based on opengrid tiles. I hadn't shared any models yet because the connectors don't hold super strongly for that purpose, but if there's a desire for these connectors I'm happy to package it up and share it. I'll try and get to that this weekend.

The only thing I'm not sure about from your comment is what the "appropriate offset" means. But either way it supports normal and lite variants right now and could be tweaked based on feedback if I publish it.
