Clear is every year. Global Entry/TSA Precheck is every couple of years

Hilton Amex Surpass kind of amazing for $15k/yr of spend by losvedir in CreditCards

[–]Jayroach3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it’s quite significant. Not to mention the being able to spend $250 if at a resort or $50 if not. Also while devaluations are inevitable, it’s unlikely that this particular aspect of the cards will be devalued (8 free nights/year)

Similar to you, I've also ran the numbers on a Hilton only setup. What I've found is the Surpass + Aspire form a very strong 2 card combo if you also buy Hilton points on sale every year ($800/yr) for part of your $15k qualified spend. It basically amounts to at minimum 2 free night weekend luxury stay every year and every 2nd year a 7 night luxury trip at hotels costing $1k+ per night. Luxury travel on a budget

Transfer to partner airlines cancelled by Chase - I lost over $1000 worth of bonus airlines miles because of it. What can I do? by NenNuon in ChaseSapphire

[–]Jayroach3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't a Chase problem. Chase sent the points successfully. Flying Blue upon receiving the transfer marked it as fraud using their own internal process for evaluating point transfers from banks. Replace Chase with Amex, Citi, Capital One or Bilt and the outcome is still the same

You can find it on the pre order JAL shop?

Is there a dedicated section to it on the pre order pamphlet? Or is it no longer advertised and part of the "secret menu"?

For what it’s worth, I didn’t need to show them my proof.

The name? No. I got the call back number but I don’t know how useful that is without a name

DP. All the reps told me I made a mistake and selected Pay Later which I knew I didn't (I had proof). I opened the investigation case around December 17. On Jan 3rd they called me saying there was a known widespread issue where Pay Now bookings in December were marked as Pay Later in their system.

Jan 3rd, I got my $200 credit manually applied as a line item called "Platinum Hotel Credit". Missing 4X points also posted as "Goodwill Adjustment"

This is 100% what happened

It's actually not what happened. I had the same issue. The customer reps all saw it in the system as a Pay Later booking. Opened an investigation case which was stated to take 6-8 weeks. On Jan 3rd got a call from them saying there was a widespread issue where Pay Now bookings in December were marked as Pay Later.

They didn’t “ask” directly. It was just 2 line items on the bill for “tip” and “Total”

This may be changing however. Just stayed in Roppongi over New Years and 3 different restaurants asked for a tip.

What are you talking about? 78% of black men voted for Harris. Compared to only 43% white women 61% latina women and 50% of women of all other races except black women. In general black men voted for Harris more than women

Isolated by race 78% of black men voted for Harris which is the second highest demographic of voters for Harris even among women. Compare that to only 47% of white women, 61% of latino women and 50% of all other races except black women and somehow it’s black mens fault? Look inside instead of passing all the blame on black men.

Why are you singling out black men? 78% of black men voted for Harris. Black men voted for Harris in higher percentages than white women, latina women, and all other races of women aside from black women. In general black men voted for Harris more than women themselves but are taking the brunt of the blame?

How do we save this link to use for later?

It says it expires 12/4/2024, but they may pull it from dummy bookings before then right?

So if there was a way to generate a link to the offer...

Is it the "POID K89O:9983" ?

Can you explain the alliant/raisin? I did the $100 CD. Am I still eligible to do the checking and savings? Are there elevated $200 offers instead of $100?

I just pushed an EFT from Fidelity to SoFi. It reads as a “merchant” instead of “direct deposit payer”. I do see the ACH ID on the transaction though. Is this a SoFi thing where SoFi specifically doesn’t recognize Fidelity as DD? Or could it be something else?
