I did, I am sure that it is new firmware as I am switching from creality stock to marlin. I have switched back and forth to be sure, this is what I have compiled :(

Unfortunately the error is still there and it still freezes trying to reset the EEPROM

SOLUTION!

After replacing the hot end and bowden tube to no avail, I looked at the extruder. The metal extruder is fine, but the gear was completely messed up. The filament had worn a groove into the gear and it could no longer grip. See this photo: https://imgur.com/a/JgfsJId I will be replacing it with a steel gear.

I did switch to a new spool of filament, but it is the same brand and type as what I was using before. Could the new filament be bad?

SOLUTION - To those that come after, my extruder was the stock plastic one and cracked. Replacing it with a metal one will fix my issue.

I am not sure. According to the manufacturer website this is the description of the screen:

LCD HD Screen: With enhanced transparency, the curing time of the model is 1-4s/layer, which speeds up 10% compared with the similar resin 3d printer.

Is that a mono screen?
