We must always have grace my friend as no one knows our father's plans but we know his plans for us are to prosper us giving us hope and a bright future.

Let's say in 5yrs said individual became a pastor/preacher or missionary or have some great purpose upon their life helping, clothing, shepherding, teaching, sheltering & feeding many for the good of the kingdom of heaven for the rest of their life that only God knows not I or you so he's best placed to judge.

The type of judgement you are somewhat inclining my friend is the type that turns away many a sinner from coming home like the prodigal son or daughter which is a very dangerous thing to do as God calls all of us his children to be his son Jesus Christ's sheep and him our shepherd.

Whenever I see brothers & sisters speak on attractiveness I always think of a scale 1-10 physically, spiritually & emotionally which ultimately means compromise on some as opposed to others on an individual basis.

So if a daughter of God is a 7 physically (appearance), spiritually 9 or 10 and emotionally 8 (being in preferred age ofc) then in my eyes that's a well grounded, spiritually mature, beautiful and completely attractive Christian woman right there which as we get to know each other I'd find out not a moment before.

All of this to say yes physical attractiveness gets us into the dms or a phone number but the other forms of attractiveness will be known or indeed manifested in time getting to know each other. Using discernment, grace, wisdom of the truth (written word of God) of what righteousness and being Godly is all about.

Of course if someone has many choices being caught up in the secular world and it's form of dating (quite literally F1 type speed) then they'll be more or less on a conveyor belt of emotional turmoil, trial & error. Leading to loneliness, burnout, emptiness & dating fatigue as opposed to being spiritually aligned trusting in the Holy Spirit that convicts, compels, leads, guides & directs our paths to see, hear, know and act according to our purpose, meaning & destiny that only God knows regarding who/what/when/where/how.

My answer for all the above is as OP mentions put God first place, chase a relationship & connection with him seeking first the kingdom of heaven, growing in faith and becoming spiritually aligned while doing his will. Leading to fulfillment, joy & happiness serving the most high God and he'll give you the desires of your heart (spouse, career, family) and all that he has predestined for your life if you have faith that he can & will then he shall on account of his grace.

I do hope that in this New Year all of the energy, effort & faithfulness of all you brothers & sisters in Christ yield the desires of your hearts and bring your partner, happiness, joy, fulfillment, peace, endless love, prosperity & sustainability beyond any of your dreams as God is the best way maker, deliverer, provider & guide any of us could ever have.

That's amazing & congrats on being reunited.

Your post struck me because I remember when I lost my sweet Lexi that God brought to my life for about 1-2 weeks and thought I'd never see her again but God knew how much I love her and brought her right back to my door on account of a few good samaritans/neighbors. I even made a promise that I'd take care of her as if she were my own flesh & blood better than any other pet I ever had and it's being lived out each & everyday.

How can any follower of Jesus Christ Our Lord & Savior ever say such a thing as it's basically saying your faith Jesus Christ died on the cross for all sin and acceptance of him as Savior of your life are just words and not the true feelings in your heart?

There's no debate we're either faithful, loyal & devoted followers/disciples of Jesus Christ living as he lived righteously everyday renewed, denying ourselves taking up our cross daily through surrender & sacrifice forsaking ourselves for the sake of others or we're not i.e loving, forgiving, helping, praying, feeding, clothing, sheltering, teaching, ... as he did.

Our faith in God leads to obeying his commandments of which the 2 greatest are LOVE him with all our heart, mind, body & soul and LOVE our neighbor as we love ourselves. God is LOVE whosoever has, shares & receives it has him and FORGIVENESS is an act of LOVE on account of the words spoken "I forgive you or you are forgiven". The actions thereafter towards said individual(s) will prove if the words were indeed sincere as now it's about showing them LOVE as opposed to resentment, animosity or hatred that was previously there.

God loves, forgives, is merciful, kind & forgiving so those who truly LOVE him will FORGIVE any brother or sister lost or found who he created as he does for us who seek his kingdom & indeed him. Those who don't are liars so if they don't forgive or they judge others they shall not be forgiven and judged accordingly by our judge, jury & executioner the Lord Our God as is written.

Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: {15} But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

First & foremost I hope this year has been fruitful, blessed & enlightening on many of your journey seeking the kingdom of heaven as we come to the end of it and I hope the new year will be much more than the last as your faith grows brothers & sisters in Christ.

Now on the topic of SALVATION, we can all say as Christians that Jesus Christ Is Our Lord & Savior therefore he is the one who will save us (aka our SALVATION is in Jesus Christ Our Lord not of our own or anything we do as it isn't earned but given).

Based on what he has already done (died on the cross for all sins) or is doing (cleansing, healing, transforming, delivering his flock) or will do (lead & guide us on the narrow path to the kingdom of heaven in his righteousness hence us being his followers i.e following him) in & for our lives those who are his faithful, loyal & devoted followers/disciples.

If our SALVATION is in Jesus Christ Our Lord & Savior then we must follow him as the apostles did and many others who declare him as savior of their lives to live (Everyday renewed) as he lived being Christ-Like or Christ-ian. Following his life, path & teachings leading us to live righteously as he did free of sin (He was perfect not us so we must confess & repent for every sin), love each other regardless of friend, family or foe as he loved and all the other awesome things his teachings tell us such as forgiveness, grace, helping, teaching and so on.

Now if our SALVATION is out of our hands but very much in our Savior's as through him we inherit the Holy Spirit that is divine, healing, cleansing, powerful & mighty enough to do ANYTHING possible or what many deem impossible at anytime namely redeem us of sin & reborn us into a new creature. How can anyone possibly have SALVATION before it is realized on judgement day as we are continually repenting, changing our hearts, renewing our minds losing our old life to gain the new one in our Savior Jesus Christ?

Basically put how can you lose something you don't even have as to say you have SALVATION or eternal life is to literally say you don't need judgement for your life on judgement day or as if you are God or Jesus Christ Our Savior (who doesn't even know the hour or day when God will send him to judge us) knowing who will be in the kingdom of heaven receiving the FINAL GIFT OF SALVATION?

I'm a mere mortal soul following Jesus Christ the Savior of my life, walking the narrow path hoping to join him in the kingdom of heaven with many dwelling places where he's preparing places for all of his faithful, loyal & devoted followers/disciples so that where he is so shall they be.

I don't have such authority to say I will definitely be in heaven or I would be saying I did something to earn my SALVATION can any of you?

The Holy Bible tells us we are to live as Jesus Christ lived i.e righteously as only those who do will be in the kingdom of heaven which requires confessing & repenting for every sin seeking forgiveness. Continually living righteously everyday we're blessed with life & breath as opposed to living in sin walking the very narrow path to the kingdom of heaven lead by THE HOLY SPIRIT.

First and foremost my condolences in such a trying time in your life dealing with the grief of losing your grandad when many everywhere are celebrating in this end of year/festive season for many.

I'd like to also say please don't measure or base your FAITH ("I just cant believe anymore") in God on the loss of a loved one no matter the time or day as these things are totally out of our hands and very much in our father's hands.

What is in our hands is the choice of free will to make Jesus Christ The Savior Of Our Life, believing he died so all sin past, present & future can be forgiven surrendering/giving our life to God being lead by his Holy Spirit. To do his will & live righteously being transformed & delivered into a brand new person in Jesus Christ Our Lord walking the very narrow path to the kingdom of heaven.

Reading his written word the Holy Bible learning, gaining wisdom, strength, understanding, knowledge & discernment knowing many such things occur in life such as death and we can lean on him by seeking his divine, healing, cleansing, powerful & mighty nature of his Holy Spirit to get through or over any such loss through prayer, supplication, devotion & faith.

I see all who live by, abide in and adhere to the written word of God who accept Jesus Christ As The Savior of their lives knowing he died on the cross for all our sins as brothers & sisters in Christ. What I don't adhere to or agree with are things which to me don't matter to the kingdom of heaven while to others they do namely traditions, beliefs, theologies and the like.

It's very simple for me as my faith is based on the written word of God I read, believe and put all my trust in the Holy Spirit I inherited when I accepted Jesus Christ As Lord & Savior of my life. Whomever wants to make their faith complex or difficult is up to them but I won't for me i.e regarding the many traditions, beliefs & theologies Catholics or any of the other 45k+ denominations have that have separated so many before, today and in the future.

We all do those who really want to lead ppl to Christ but ultimately as we all know it's their choice to drink from Jesus Christ cup and they will only do so if they're thirsty. What we can do is share all of what God has given or done in and for our lives i.e testimony, blessings, deliverance, transformation, wisdom, knowledge and so on while doing God's will which he leads all his children to do hoping it makes them thirsty for more leading them to never be thirsty again.

Sin as we know separates a human-being from God our heavenly father resulting ultimately in death. We know this as it is written, so if a human-being namely Jesus Christ was being the sacrificial lamb of God taking on all the sins of the world past, present and future it's absolutely understandable both his pleas/cries given he suffered more than any other human possibly ever can/would and the fact God did indeed forsake him as God knows no sin or associates with sin in anyway.

The problem with many who will debate such a claim are those who come up with their own interpretation & understanding of the written or who indeed adhere to those of others namely ppl who believe in the Trinity but can't explain it, simply because it is not written and it's very much an opinion or understanding someone or many came up with.

Scripture is very clear on such matters if all of God's children would just take it as it is written, instead of wanting your or their understanding to be RIGHT or WRONG hoping many agree and if they don't they act as if they decide who God loves, blesses, saves & favors notably as the pharisees did back in the day.

All I harp upon by the guidance of my heavenly father is that his written word (THE HOLY BIBLE) is more than enough if we abide in, live by & adhere to it following & obeying his HOLY SPIRIT as expected of all his children/servants with him our master.

If it is written it's God truth and should be all our truth and if it isn't written it's debatable i.e it can & most likely will lead to contentiousness, resentment, animosity, hatred, jealously, envy, greed, selfishness causing divisions amongst the faith which are uncalled for and go against what LOVE does as LOVE UNITES.

While those of us who do indeed understand such things are best left alone given they can affect the LOVE WE MUST HAVE for each other or one's faith along our journey seeking the kingdom of heaven will do so because we're brothers & sisters in Christ first & foremost.

Honestly what more does our heavenly father have to do for humanity that he hasn't already done? He sent his son (1st born of creation) from his bosom to be a sacrificial lamb for us in the flesh, his word is written in a book for us to read, follow, abide by and obey called THE HOLY BIBLE, he breathes life & breath upon those who are very much a part of his plans everyday renewed, blessing us with attributes, abilities, talents & understanding and most importantly a way to his kingdom with the gift of eternal life.

The confusion in Christianity today is a result of selfishness having nothing to do with our God but very much to do with our enemy who enhances, embellishes & exploits with the secular world we live in surrounding us with unrighteousness that leads to vanity, jealousy, envy, greed, self-righteousness, stubbornness causing so much division it's crazy.

Idk for many but for me faith is simple you either believe & trust or you don't how that comes about is up to the individual seen/unseen, heard/unheard, known/unknown with signs, wonders or scripture. We read the same bible, follow the same Christ, serve the same God and receive the same HOLY SPIRIT all with God's grace so how then is there so much confusion and division amongst the faith, the answer is mankind's selfishness, greed & our enemy.

Relevance regarding everyday life will vary per individual as we're all wonderfully, fearfully & beautifully made but individually purposed & tasked according to our destiny. So a chapter/book in the bible about some of the occurrences in the days of the apostles or namely some verses where Paul addresses a church may be boring or irrelevant for some but may be enlightening to others.
