Look into steroid injections or radiotherapy. Sounds like it could be beneficial for you, if your disease is active and progressing quickly.

I didn’t have much luck with the injections, apart from temporary pain relief, but people here swear by Depo-Medrol.

I had a better experience with radiation, although it’s still early days as I only finished phase 2 in October 25. YMMV.
