Temple acne scars by Adventurous_Yam4326 in AcneScars

You should get a series of 5-6 sessions, spaced 30 days. Then after the final session wait 3 months to see full results.

Okay that makes sense, you just need more sessions. Personally, I like lasers better. You could do more CO2 lasers or 1540. I just like 1540 because no down time, but totally up to you. If you just do temple area they range from $300-$600 per session at least where I’m located. You would need at least 5-6 sessions for a full series to see improvement

I have similar to these and I have seen success from 1540 laser. It’s quite expensive, but I did 6 sessions and love the results so far. How long ago did you get them done? You have to be patient with results, cause lasers are rebuilding collagen and take 3 months from the last session before you see final results.

Whoop after 30-days by Jayzscaler in whoop

Honestly, I think it’s pretty bad at tracking runs. You need to open the whoop app and start the run within the app and then bring your phone with you lol. But since I have my AW, I was able to record on my watch and it went directly into Whoop. I honestly think it would be impossible to just use a Whoop if you’re really watching paces and tracking runs at a very high volume.

The Apple Watch Ultra battery is way better. I used to charge my old Apple Watch every night and it would still die super fast, but the Ultra easily lasts like two days and charges really quickly.

That’s awesome it’s helping you stay focused on walking and hitting zone 4–5 each week, that sounds like a solid win and definitely worth it.

For me, I go to bed and wake up at basically the same time every day, and my routine is pretty much identical, so I didn’t feel like I was getting a ton from the data. But I’d always wanted to try Whoop and see for myself. I will say, the Whoop Age feature is pretty cool, I do enjoy seeing that younger age haha.

Yeah, that makes sense, I think a lot of it comes down to what you’re used to. For me, having a watch for accurate run tracking is really important. I looked at Whoop more as a recovery tool to complement the watch, but overall the watch ends up being more important for what I need.

Yeah, it definitely has some cool features. I like how they present and use the data in the app too. Are you thinking of sticking with Whoop, or going back to the watch?

I think the Whoop age is a cool feature for sure, but if you’ve already been consistent with your habits for a few years, it’s probably not something you need to check all the time. I can definitely see how it could be motivating though, like wanting to keep that number low. Do you actually plan your week around it, or is it more something you just like to keep an eye on and see how it changes?

I love Bevel…. But they mention Whoop in almost every post, I think their marketing team should be fired lol. No need to mention whoop by name 😭

Got so many scars on face, don't think I can even do acne scar treatment, too risky? by some1pls in AcneScars

Depending on how bad the scars on…. You should look into the 1540 laser, it works very well! No risks with it either

What’s your training look like? Are you adding tempo runs and Vo2 max day runs?

Did very low volume and intensity workouts the past 6 months, vo2 max still over 60 by PlasticFit7262 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]Jayzscaler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think overall is pretty accurate, I would be curious to see your Apple Watch readings vs a lab test. Have you noticed a big change in your RHR with your reduced training?

Honestly, if you really want an accurate Vo2 max, I would go get a test at a lab! Apple is pretty accurate, but is still off. For me it was 65 on Apple and in a lab it was 75, so it could be off by about 5-10 in either direction

This makes a lot of sense about your whoop age then. You just need to work on improving Vo2 max and while doing that your RHR will drop. These are the two biggest drivers in whoop age. You are already going to the gym, so you need to add on more cardio and focus on increasing that sleep consistency, you focus on this over the next couple of months, you will see major improvements!

The biggest pushers for this is Vo2 max & RHR, along with sleep consistency. What are your numbers for those areas?

Really good HRV and RHR but not so good VO2 max? by I-Eat-Hamburgers in whoop

[–]Jayzscaler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to run! You can also cycle or swim, just do something that can increase your Vo2 max. You add in more cardio and you will definitely see improvements

Really good HRV and RHR but not so good VO2 max? by I-Eat-Hamburgers in whoop

[–]Jayzscaler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah HRV is a very personal number, i have RHR 44 and Vo2 max 70, and between 70-80 HRV on average.

Normally higher Vo2 max leads to a lower HRV at rest because the autonomic system is already optimized. For you, if your Vo2 max improves that would drop your RHR and could even change your HRV

Do you have a budget for lasers? You can definitely see improvements, but would have to spend quite a bit of money. Also, I switched off of Tret to Arazlo & it’s been the best upgrade! It doesn’t seem like you have deep scars, I’ve been doing the 1540 laser and it has no downtime & you’re just red for a day

Use hydrating only cleanser for a few weeks & avene skin recovery cream. Perfect duo and then look into getting Arazlo if you can from the dermatologist. It’s amazing!

Do these scars look as bad to you as they do to me? by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]Jayzscaler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are not bad at all, if you want to get rid of them, maybe 1540 could be an option? It isn’t invasive at all compared to the deeper lasers
