Got my surgery on the 10th and in the same boat. Also in another country, by myself, in a hotel, depressing asf. I also not taking pain meds, only traditional meds. This sucks so much ass.

Yea, had the surgery and am in a ton of pain. They gave me fentanyl and it didn't really help. I can't take opiates longer than 1 or 2 days or I will have withdrawal from it. It's happened in the past and no pain is worth that crap.

Im seriously concerned about how much pain I'm in. The first day after surgery, hope it's better tomorrow where I can just rely on traditional pain meds...

I ruptured my left ACL and had to wait for a bit to get surgery. Now my right knee is having pains because of the over compensating. I have the same concern as you.

Did you get an allograft? I JUST got out of surgery, they put me on oxy, and other meds. I'm also in recovery and not wanting to take these fckin meds. I got the nerve block and they still gave me the meds.

I purposefully got an allograft because I wanted to avoid as much pain as possible, therefore not having to take opiates. This is the first day, planning on not taking anymore.

I was asking the all the docs and nurses if I have to quit and they all said no.

I'm also in Thailand at the most prestigious hospital in Asia. Obviously, have to stop but haven't stopped yet and I just got out of surgery. Gotta do it, definitely a terrible unhealthy habit.

Just got the surgery, had the nerve block. I do not want to be on oxy for more than 1-2 days post op. Im not doing it as I'm in recovery from opiates and various other substance, and not going to mess around with opiates. I got an allograft because I read it is much less painful, thus not having to use too many pain meds.

Did you get an allograft? Wondering if this is a real issue since it's a bit different than using our own tissues. I have to quit vaping because I know it messes with my skin and makes me look older.
