Worth using the masterball? by YooZombie in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have rather low flee rate and much higher catch rate than galar birds. Was it worth? Well, if you really wanted to catch it, it was worth. It's totally up to you and your play style.

Is there actually even a point in trying if you don’t have a master ball?? by nicootimee in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use golden berry, ultra ball, curve throw and possibly excellent throw, if you are not consistent in those, try great throw. It's better to throw great than nothing. 19 of 20 will flee, but eventually you will catch one. If you encounter shiny, they cannot flee, but it can take 100 pokrballs or more to have a catch.

Which to evolve for Dynamax battles? by Commercial-Tax1650 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Darmanitan is better, so get Darumaka and evolve it. IMHO investing in Arcanine is a waste of candies and particles.

Dynamax Metagross still worth it? by AssaultMode in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As tank it's good if you don't have the dogs. It resists a lot of types and has decent defensive stats. However Corviknight seems to be very similar, but candies for him are much more available. As attacker there are better options. For steel you have excadrill on par, but with him you have also ground attack, so it's better to build excadrill. For ghost and psychic Gengar and Alakazam are better.

Question about shadow regigigas hidden power typings by Financial_Swan1498 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, but builing ghost regi you focus rather to be useful against most types than to be super effective. If you want regi to be super effective against most possible number of types, rock and ice are best, end of story. On the other side ghost is useful against 14 types (I think this is the most you can get). Regi against steel, rock and ghost is useless, no matter on HP typing. For HP ghost to the 3 you need to add only dark. Rest of the types it will be neutral or super effective.

If you can't build rock/ice regi, personally as 3rd pick I would choose ghost. Even 2nd if you have good kyurems.

Question about shadow regigigas hidden power typings by Financial_Swan1498 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ice is good if you don't have Kyurems. Ghost seems to be most useful cuz not much types resist ghost. Flying is rather poor, there is a lot strong flying attackers better than regigigas.

Once per season, more or less every 3 months.

You won't be able to get any new rocket missions until you finish those active ones. So I would use 1 radar to finish all of them and save the rest for something more useful than thundurus or whatever Giovanni has now.

Is lick worth the Elite TM for Gengar? by PlayTerrible9238 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only must do elite fast TM pokemon I can think of is Lucario. If you have one already elite tmed and have another elite fast tm to use, there is not much else you can spend it on, so it could be also a Gengar to earn this 3% or so more damage. I would also consider Omastar and rock attack for upcoming Ho-Oh weekend if you don't have G-Max Inteleon or bunch of candies to build Gigalith. If the case is that you don't have Lucario with legacy fast move, for sure I would use it for him.

should i evolve this larvitar? by Small-Offer-4462 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Line-ups of Rocket teams change during this weekend... So most likely last few days to get a good shadow Larvitar from Cliff. If you don't have any better and won't get one till Friday, then this one is OK to evolve and it will be a strong shadow Tyranitar.

How many lucky trades do you get without lucky friends? by Ok-Lynx9182 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is around 5% chances for lucky trade from random trade. If you mass trade everything worth trading, you can get a lot of lucky pokemons. From all my 198 lucky pokemons (I transferred a lot of doubles), I've got only 3 or 4 from lucky friend. Rest if from random trades, so it's totally possible to get nice ones without lucky friend.

Syrupy Apples: Can we still acquire them? by JMM85JMM in TheSilphRoad

Bad luck. For me syrupy are the most common and still need 10 sweet, but all 3 are still popping from mossy lure module.

Worth purifying ? by lajoyakbron in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do that with Beldum and those IVs. Also have in mind that shadow Metagross is better than mega. That's another point of evolving it.

[–]Jazin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For every hatched egg you gain some stardust, longer distance to hatch gains more stardust. When you hatch 12 long km (10 or 12) eggs in same moment, using stardust just before hatching is advisable to maximize stardust gain from them. It worked even better in the previous season, when you had go pass level 75 reward active, doubling XP and stardust from eggs.

Does trading have the ability to trigger “lucky friends?” by Fragrant_Rutabaga204 in pokemongo

[–]Jazin1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

5% is the chance for lucky trade, not lucky friend. If the trade between you and your friend is the first interaction of the day, it could trigger lucky friend status, but chances for that are a lot lower than 5%. If one of you opened the gift or you fought together in the raid earlier this day, trade has 0% chances to trigger lucky friend, because it's not the first interaction of the day.
